I didnt think it would be that close but i do hope Adele wins, she is the midweek number 1

I do like Rolling In The Deep, but the simplicty of Grenade and Mars' emotional, perhaps slightly over-exaggerated, lyrics behind that gift of a voice makes me favour it for the top spot.

I wouldn't be too downhearted if Adele did get it in the end though

And after his brilliant live lounge performance today he might well keep the position.

She's on tomorrow with an extended Live Lounge, so it's still all to play for. Both very talented artists, but I'd prefer Adele to get number 1.
LoveBug.

I love how fame hasn't change her, like weight wise. She's still the way she looked before she got famous. No pressure or anything good role model.
but she needs to start wearing different colours, not just black.

I like Bruno Mars - love JTWYA and I adore Marry You from his album, but Grenade is ****.

I'd love for Adele to get to number 1.

I never really used to like Adele..

But the song is AMAZING.
Doesn't get boring, whereas Bruno's song does.

Marry You is great.

My absolute favourite from the album has to be Talking To The Moon.

Rolling in the Deep is being played on the radio now. It always sounds so fresh that I doubt I shall ever feel bored with it.

Bruno has pulled ahead of Adele in Thursday and Friday's update with one source claiming he is now substantially ahead.

It's possible it might swing either way by the weekend again but think Bruno's Live Lounge might well have clinched it this week, he was sounding sensational, if I wasn't watching him perform it with my own eyes, I would have sworn they just played the 'Grenade' record, his live vocals were just phenomenal.

His cover of California Gurls was great too.

Adele's Live Lounge is not until next week by the way (January 27th) to support the album. It's a shame she's looking like missing out on her first number 1 after leading the midweeks but the album sales will undoubtedly be fantastic and ultimately that's what counts. I expect her Live Lounge to be absolutely sensational.

Bruno Mars has an amazing live vocal on him. His California Gurls cover version was such a pleasure to listen too
