Not sure if anyone else has tried these but GF and I tried one tonight.

Tried the Rustic Chicken. It was disgusting. It was not cooked ten minutes after the listed time, and then stayed in for another twenty minutes and some of the veg still was not cooked. Little flavour carried over to the meat and veg, would really not got one of these again.

With all the big advertising they have been doing would be good to see if others have been as dissapointed as we were.

I didn't realise you put the veg in too - I thought it would have just covered the meat. And since you can put different pieces and sizes of meat in the bag, I definitely wouldn't have expected cooking instructions, as I would have cooked the meat according to the meats cooking instructions.

Isn't it just a marinade/rub type thing - I prefer to make my own as I can get the right taste for me.

I agree with this, I would never pay for a marinade/rub. A lot of them taste of very little other than salt!

I made the Mediterranean Chicken one last week; you add cut up pieces of chicken breast, peppers and tomatoes to the bag (I think it suggested courgettes too but I don't like these and left them out). It was cooked in the time stated and was very tasty, the chicken was succulent and tender from being cooked in the bag. I always cook chicken breasts in roaster bags for this reason.
