My box seems to have recently developed a fault that I am assuming is to do with the overnight update.
In the morning when switching on the box I find that I have lost most of the BBC channels (1,2 News but not CBeebies). It has a no signal indicator for these channels. This has happened once or twice last year but for the past month has happened about twice a week.
A rescan gets all the channels back everytime (current BBC2 Signal strength 77% Quality 100%). However all the timers must be reentered.
We have a rooftop aerial going into a signal booster downstairs. This goes thru a Y Splitter to feed the downstairs telly (no probs), then 20m of cable to take the signal back upstairs.
I have the box set to pass the signal thru on the RF so it subsequently goes into another digibox that doesn't loose its signal.
Any ideas? Or am I going to have to return it?
