Leona shouldn't try to sell out to the public, she should try to make the public adapt to her sound...while also slightly adapting herself as well.
All Leona needs is a catchy, quality, up-tempo song that has a good marketing campaign and an original and captivating video to accompany it. If she has that, I'm sure she can smash the charts on a global scale again.”

Totally agree, the problem she had with Happy is it just didn't have a beat to it, it wasn't really a song you could hum in your head, whatever they release as the first single has to have that foot tapping head humming thing about it.
I always think of Kylie's "Can't get you out of my head" it just has that thing that once you've heard it you can't forget it. Even if you hated the song you couldn't help humming along to it!!!
Forgive Me has that, especially the live version as does BIT, in fact BIT is a good example for amid tempo track with a really good 'get inside your head' beat to it, it's not fast (although the rocked up version really does the business) but it has that thing about it.

(well it could have done with a bit more work but a finished version would have been completely perfect)
I also hope it's not a song that gets old quickly or you can get bored of quickly. Only Girl I got sick of really fast, whereas I'll never get sick of What's My Name. So need to find a balance between it being catchy but not so much that it gets old too quick, especially with this new download-as-soon-as-its-on-the-radio thing.
I want another unique song; set the trend rather than follow it. That's one thing I think Leona's good at; BL definitely set a trend with the big Tedder ballads and Run suddenly made female singers love indie covers (in the UK anyway)
