It's just a remix, but I'm really liking it. Sounds like something that should be playing in a grungy BDSM club in Berlin.

Definitely an intriguing look into what she's been getting up-to in the studio.

The bassline in that song is intense. i'm loving that.

Pretty sure she's talking about Monster Claws.

She's definitely saying Madre Monstre (Mother Monster) in bits. The rest is a ridiculous chanting mess. I love it.

It's a bit messy, and doesn't really have a sort of ''Ooh, that's interesting'' moment like her other songs.

It's also very obviously a remix, she's done nothing to change that.

definately! it reminds me of something you'd hear in the background in alias when sydney is at a club

Love the remix, when you think of what gaga hasn't done, of course german chanting is the next logical step lol

Thanks for the link, i'm interested what (if any) of it is in the non remix version

It's a remix, nothing final.

There seems to be about 10 seconds of the actual song in there.

The visuals are awesome, the music run of the mill.

Well...

After that video, I think I'm off to take several cleansing showers

I love the beat! It would sound good blasted through the speakers. Might do that when I have the house to myself

According to some person called Nicola Formichetti who was a fashion consultant at the event where the track was aired, the pre-remix apparently.....

'It's techno meets Whitney Houston, in a really good way.'

Interesting...

I like the remix. I love industrial sounding beats, and minimal use of GaGa.

Boring. Sounds very generic, nothing original at all surprising coming from the Queen of originality tbh.

It's only a remix. And a heavy one at that.

What I think happened was that while Gaga was remixing this song she realised how awesome it is, so she kept cutting out bits of it so we can truly enjoy it when it's properly released for the first time. And so we ended up with literally 3 lyrics and a letter from the actual song.

How can people say this is generic?

Generic is The Wanted's songs, JLS' songs...
I don't see people releasing this type of music week in, week out..

Black Eyed Peas have been releasing songs sounding like that since 2009 now.

But yeah, I don't think that particular song is generic, to be honest.

Poker Face, Just Dance, Bad Romance, Telephone, Paparazzi are very generic, but this is nowhere near as generic.

Also, JLS have released a few non-generic songs like The Club is Alive, One Shot, Eyes Wide Shut and Beat Again. Their only real generic songs Everybody in Love and Love You More.

It's kind of sad, because this remix is actually very good in my opinion, but I bet the original version will be some more radio-friendly generic pop song with dance beats. I just wish her first single could be something a bit more creative. Like something you don't usually hear on the radio. Like when Boom Boom Pow and Pass Out were first released, a lot of radio stations didn't want to playlist them because they weren't mainstream enough. I can guarantee whatever Lady Gaga releases next will be playlisted by every single radio station in the country, because her songs seem to be deliberately MOR.

Are you high?

In what universe is a song like 'Bad Romance' generic but 'The Club is Alive' and 'Beat Again' NOT so?

I think people get far too liberal with throwing the term 'generic' around where it's not warranted. By definition, for a song to be 'generic' it means it's unremarkable in comparison to others similar. It doesn't mean that the song isn't ground-breakingly different. There's only so far you can deviate from the 'pop' path if you want to remain mainstream. Same applies to other genres too, but they seem to avoid the 'generic' tag despite many being textbook examples.

Songs like Bad Romance are not generic because it stands out from the crowd.

This remix could be classed as generic because it's production is (as good as it is) pretty standard in hard euro-dance circles...but on the other hand, she's a popstar not an underground dance act. It's pretty intense for pop. Not to mention she's chanting in German. That is not generic.

Bad Romance is epic. Ever since it was released not a day has gone by without me at some point singing some part of it.

I realise it's only a remix, but It reminds me very much of Kylie's GBI for some reason.

I know most of the lyrics by heart (well the chorus anyway!)
