I suggest you tell somebody else, a neighbour perhaps unless you want a cat's corpse stuck there instead.

I would say that if it has been there since this morning, it must be trapped. Cats are creature of habits and do tend to go back in for meals.
I would definitely, if your parents won't help, which I am sorry to say seems rather uncaring to me, go next door and ask for your neighbours help. They can ring for some advice on how to maybe coax the poor cat out. It is very cold tonight so it would be very hard to leave it there all night. They may be able to call RSPCA or someone similiar who will have those special leads which they can hopefully hook over the cat to gently guide it out. |

Please go nextdoor, they may even know who's cat it is!
It's going to be a frosty night. If it is hurt or trapped it will not help being out tonight. |

Why on earth won't your parents believe you if it can be seen ? |

Screw the consequences - get next door and tell the person there, who will hopefully be a little more understanding than your parents.

The RSPCA believes that the basic welfare of all animals must take into account the 'Five Freedoms'. These are:
- freedom from hunger and thirst - freedom from discomfort - freedom from pain, injury or disease - freedom to express normal behaviour - freedom from fear and distress. |

I am surprised no one has asked what, in the context of the OP's use of it, is a "pouch".

![]() Please, please go and get some help for the poor cat. If it has been there all day it will be dehydrated, hungry, cold, scared and your parents are contributing to the suffering of this cat. That is wrong.
