I have to say I thought it was a pretty weak night.
The last girl on has a bit of the Southern country twang so will probably do well and I quite liked the piano teacher & red haired guy.
IMO the 15 year old kid was just singing by numbers.

The girl at the end for me, had a nice voice, particularly in the lower register. Not amazed by anyone yet though.
The best audition for me was the one they didn't show.. a young kid with a deeper than deep voice doing a version of a Josh Turner song, who's a country singer with a deeper than deep voice. I also loved the mad bird who did the song from Thoroughly Modern Mille, the kid with the "It's gonna be fantastic" T Shirt who lived in the shelter in the Bronx and the guy who was a piano teacher and sang "Somewhere over the rainbow" oh, and the 15 year old who sang "Sittin' on the dock of the bay"
I like Robbie Rosen the one who sang on thursday night.

Brett was very good indeed but my favourite was the girl in the red dress, what was her name - feel stupid for not knowing!

I watched both shows this week, & I can't remember any of them. Should I be cutting back on alcohol?
Casey Abrams definitely, loved his version of Lullaby of Birdland in Hollywood week. Also like Jacee Badeaux, Rob Bollin (the ex who wants to get back with his girlfriend), Jackie Wilson and Paris Tessin (My Heart Will go on).
Hopefully this season will be a lot better than last year's, although I am unsure if it will work seeing as there are a high number of young teenagers taking part.
