Hi

Does anyone recommend Pandora Bracelets or are there similar ones that are nearly as good but cheaper. Its for me, and have been mooching on the Internet and had to sit down when I saw the price. Especially when you add up the charms eventually, but I do prefer the threaded ones as opposed to the clasp charm bracelets

Thanks

What about Trollbeads? They are loads of makes doing their own beaded bracelets. Have a look on alot of high street jewellery shop's websites and im sure you'll see some.

I don't know where abouts you live, this company has a little shop in Leeds, but you can buy online (I think)

Ive got a lovelinks bracelet. Only three beads and two spacers but I like the fact you can add to it over the years.

Do be aware though op, that when you buy a branded bracelet you will most probably always have to but the beads that fit that particular bracelet. Only lovelink beads fit my bracelet. I cant buy pandora, troll, chamilia etc.

I have a trollbead and pandora bracelet, as does my friend. We have found trollbeads the best as you can use just about any make of bead on them. Pandora will not take trollbeads. They have charms that are threaded. The hole on a trollbead is too small to fit pandora. Have also found trollbeads have far more variety and price range.

Pandora is the very best, and with the growing popularity they are opening their own dedicated shops around the country now. When the initial trend wanes I would imagine Pandora will be going long after the other makes.

Chamilia charms fit the Pandora bracelets. I have a Pandora bracelet which is now nearly full, have just the one glass Chamilia charm on it, which I got because their milano glass charms were slightly smaller than the Pandora, but tbh it is the one charm that I like least.

I would invest in a Pandora bracelet. The leather bracelets are not meant to be totally full of charms, they can't hold the weight. The silver bracelets look fine with just a few charms as you build up your collection.

I love my Pandora bracelet and doesn't have to be too expensive (silver anyway) if you build it up gradually. My OH got me mine for my 40th and it is probably half full now. I always get a bead for birthdays, xmas and anniversaries. It has the double advantage of noone being stuck what to get me for a present.

A big Pandora shop opened up right round the corner from where I work so I went and bought one for my wife and half filled it with charms.

Cost me a bloody fortune but she's always wanted one and she was so happy.

I also got some gift vouchers so she could pick her own charms and i set up her profile so that the shop knows which charms she already has.

It looks really good on her.

Pandora bracelets are nice and have a great selection of charms but i find that everyone seems to have them now, they dont seem that special or original anymore. Also i dont like that there are so many cheap versions now, they dont look well made. my friend had a real pandora bracelet but a lot of people thought it was a cheap one (despite saying pandora on it!)

I have a couple of Pandora bracelets which I love. They are rather addictive though, I'm constantly wanting to buy new charms.

I love them, but its the clinky noise that bugs me! But they are so much prettier than Links of London Sweetie Bracelet.

I prefer Nomination as the charms are flat and so no clinking!

I have a Trollbeads bracelet, I'm told Trollbeads were the original, Pandora a spin-off. Currently I have more bracelet than bead, as I'm buying them for each stone I lose - currently 1st, 2st, 3st and 50lbs.

I hate Pandora bracelets, for the simple reason that a growing number of women at work wear them, and seem to think the noise that they make, which is similar to chucking stones on to the desk ALL DAY is acceptable in a busy and crowded office. It isn't.
Pandora bracelet wearers - please be mindful when wearing them at work, and if they make a noise on the desk, it's really really distracting and annoying for others.

I love Pandora and always talk about it to my husband.

We're not in a position to afford them at the mo but the other day we passed a new Pandora shop in our local town and I said that's the shop I'm always talking about.

He asked what's Pandora?

I will treat myself one day!

You don't need to find a lesser quality alternative, there are a few online store that sell real pandora charms and bracelets cheaper than retail.

The best one is www.gems-pandorium.co.uk based in the UK. Thousands of customers and a very large facebook group, loads of offers and discounts etc

Then there's www.perlenodense.com based in denmark I think

I have a Pandora bracelet which I really like. Regardless of whether or not people think it's "common", it's special to me because each charm has been chosen for a specific, special reason by my partner and family.

I had a look at Trollbeads after hearing some recommendations but thought that they look a bit cheap I don't like the bracelet chain itself. Also some of the charms I saw are rather expensive so it didn't really seem like a cheap alternative to Pandora.
