Do Microsoft have an official weekly update list like on the PS3? They really should, then a simple copy and paste in this thread would keep everyone upto date with what's new.

How much do movies cost? Or should I say how many points?
Is the picture quality good?

The picture quality is great but the movies are very expensive.

For example Scott Pilgrim vs the world is 480 microsoft points to watch in in 480p and 590 microsoft points to watch in 1080p high def.

Not anymore!

Free XBL weekend cancelled for most of Europe

Only Russia, Poland, Greece, South Africa, Czech Republic and Hungary are saved.

A free Xbox LIVE Gold weekend, planned for January 28-31 has been cancelled across most of Europe, Xbox European Community Manager Graeme Boyd (AceyBongos) has revealed via Twitter.

The news will be disappointing to anyone planning to make use of the free Gold service this weekend, although if you live in Poland, Greece, South Africa, Czech Republic and Hungary there's no need to fret - the free weekend is still on. US gamers are unaffected.

"I'm told that 'we'll be in a position soon to announce a further Free LIVE Weekend.' Apologies for any inconvenience," Tweeted Boyd.
Wonder why

Is "Beyond Good and Evil" the top down dungeoner?

I loved Baldur's Gate and Norrath on the PS2 so really looking forward to some old school dungeon raiding.

The poker game looks good, a real shame it isn't free but a multiplayer card game with my mates looks like a great alternative to a sweary Black Ops session.

Nope. Zelda-like adventure game.

Cult fav. Underrated. Undersold, and an absolute steal at only 800 moon monies!

True, still at least with the Poker game it doesn't look like I'll have to worry about any live cam genitalia

Uno can be a very traumatizing experience

Just downloaded the demo of 'Stacking' , got to say it's really good. Have to get some Xbox points for the full game..
Do you get a better deal on points if you get them from xbox live market on xbox rather than from Game, Game station or other stores?

2000 points are £17 direct from Live or £15 from Amazon for 2100 points.

Of course you'll have to wait a week for teh Amazon points to turn up.
