Well having just watched the final, all I can say is that is completes the series as being completely light of content. You get the feeling that Trump had made his mind up before the filming of the episode started.

Our version does the final so much better - a separate recap episode, a separate episode about the finalists personal life so you can have the final dedicated to the finallists and not full of pointless questions to the ex-candidates.

It seems that Trump's remarks to James about not hiring him for a comment he made was to do with the free advertising he gave to his internet company by naming it (remember big companies pay thousands of dollars to sponsor tasks during the show).

that's interesting... as in the comment he made live on the results show? so potentially he was in with a shot before that - or he knew he wouldn't win and wanted to get in a cheeky mention.

I'm so glad Stefani won - but is that just because she was never PM, so she never really had the chance to disgrace herself? Nicole became this lumbering, lazy annoyance towards the end, constantly shouting at me. The minute I saw that she french manicures her toes, ffs, I knew she had to go. She totally screwed Kristine over, although Trump obviously didn't want Kristine anyway and let Nicole get away with being completely useless on that task. Frank was a nice guy but not an apprentice.

This is a complete generalisation, but I felt Stefani deserved to win because she has obviously had to give up more for her career. I know every situation is different but its easier for James to have a wife and young kids at home and for him to run the business, than for Stefani to juggle that and her job.

Terrible series, correct winner!

Stefani quietly shone from the LA bus tour task for me, proving you don't have to me a self-aggrandising loudmouth to prove your worth. Very puzzled as to why James was continually labelled 'creative' (although admittedly mostly by himself!) when the ideas he took forward were pretty much always someone else's.

I fell asleep while watching the double bill and woke up to the final result, with Trump saying to James that he was sure he was going to be a great success but he was fired and Stefani hired. So I never got to see the final task or the elimination of Frank and Nicole. Oh, well...I've even forgotten the preceding task that I did see before sleep overtook me.

You missed Frank and Nicole trying to sell air freshener by squirting a tramp in the face with it.

At least you woke up and saw the end. I fell asleep and still haven't watched the end!

You didn't miss much - it was abysmal and unnecessarily drawn out to provide 'tension' and 'excitement'.

Their belief that being homeless was funny, did not fit well with their anguish over a few days of living in a tent.

Diabolical series trump should have been fired for putting out that mess.
I didn't see anything remarkable from Stephanie.

To be fair to her she was the best one of the final four but that was Trump's own fault for firing the better candidates earlier, it's not her fault she didn't get the chance to lead the team it was his / the TV company's silly idea of the winner staying on as leader.

The incredibly stupid concept of the winning PM continuing wasn't her fault, but she still had the opportunity to put herself forward every time it was time for a new PM.

She did, but she either didn't get the chance to or she kept her head down depending upon your viewpoint and at the end of the day it worked for her as she won.

There were very few opportunities though and when there were opportunities it was by definition when her team lost. When a team lost, whoever felt they had something to prove, after being brought back to the boardroom and criticised by the team or Trump, tended to demand to be PM the next week...... Its very difficult to get a turn when your PM is winning or when you escape blame if you lose.

According to Tim's blog they had 10 months between the task and the grand final, so Trump had a long time to think about it.

It seems that Trump's remarks to James about not hiring him for a comment he made was to do with the free advertising he gave to his internet company by naming it (remember big companies pay thousands of dollars to sponsor tasks during the show).
Didn't we see his company in the at home with James video anyway? Refering back to Tim's blog again, James nor Tim didn't have any idea what Trump was refering to.

We did, but we didn't see the name, or what kind of company it was.
