you're so right CB, i picked that up about her early on, from the start really, there was just something vulnerable about her behind the tough surface. And like you say through things like the video diaries. She just spoke like she'd been an underdog who'd taken enough stick and it was revenge time.
the film. not sexual abuse just psychological abuse as far as i picked up. One of them controlling mothers living her own dream thru her daughter type things. Some gruesome moments in it but a decent enough film. Right good, So basically I can close my eyess through extreme gruesomeness and watch the rest? Quote:

Yeah, I think her gran must've been her supporter too, she is so close to her, like maybe she was the one she turned to through it because she has a 16/14/12 year old siblings so there would always be someone younger for her parents to have to focus on.
Right good, So basically I can close my eyess through extreme gruesomeness and watch the rest? I'm steering well clear then.. Whats been said? :/ |

On a thread about a former contestant dying someone said they wished it was Cher. Some people mind find it harmless but I find any joke of that kind kind of sick.
Anyone replied saying the wished it was them?! Cause I do. Okay maybe I don't. But honestly people would be nowhere near as bold about things if they couldn't be traced. Need to grow a set.. Last edited by crazybutterflyx : 24-01-2011 at 21:22. Reason: posted before I was finished :( |

Then there's the bitterness, which is in full flow in certain of the other contestants' ATs because Cher is getting more attention from the music business than more "deserving" finalists. People who are hateful and jealous because a talented teenager who's never hurt anyone is living her dream are pathetic losers. |

It's good that Cher has learnt to ignore the haters cos if she didn't, she'll be a nervous wreck by now

On a brighter note, though, it is good that she's ignoring the haters, but I do think she was right about waiting a bit longer to try and get in to the music business, she'd have a much better mentality towards the haters and be more able to ignore them She's just gotta remember that if the people she's worked with really didn't think she was good enough, they wouldn't be praising her as they have done. I mean, I doubt Simon Cowell can be puling everyone's strings, surely? ![]() By the way, does anyone else have the irresistable urge to pre-order Chase and Status - No More Idols? It'll be the first album I've ever pre-ordered if I did, just working out where I want to buy it from (it's cheapest on iTunes atm, but I'm a real sucker for having the case and all that stuff ![]() ). As if the singles aren't brilliant enough, there are tracks with Dizzee Rascal, Tinie and even Cee Lo Green. They managed to make a track with Cee Lo Green - how the heck does that work? Either way, really looking forward to it ![]()

I have no idea who they are?
![]() Basically a drum and bass/electronic etc. duo, and they're awesome Don't know how many of us on this thread listen to radio, but the singles off of the album have been played a lot on Radio 1. From the first time I heard Let You Go, I've practically fallen in love with them ![]() ![]() I myself would recommend them to anyone on this thread Come to think of it (which I did back in Part 2 ), if they did a track with Cher, it would be one of the most bad@ss things ever!

I'll check them out tomorrow (: ah see I'm a ipodder personally
![]() Perfect to pass the time on the school buses ![]() Since I always seem to be the first person to come on this thread in the morning (the wee hours don't count ), I may as well put up a couple of Cher's tweets:CherLloyd Cher Lloyd had an amazing day at the beach, back in the studio tomorrow! yeeeeeaaaaaaah mannnn. 4 hours ago CherLloyd Cher Lloyd Overload. man, wheres my sweet n sour sauce at? arghh. 4 hours ago Not surprised at the overload. She has been in the studio a heck of a lot recently But hold on...overload after being at the beach? I don't get it, I'm so confused I do like me some sweet and sour chicken though ![]() By the way, I thought I'd show the 'leaderboard' of posts in this thread so far, ya know, just for fun. Heck, this could even become a new feature: User Name Posts Westhamfan21 22 crazybutterflyx 15 Willz 14 Nelsonator15 7 my name is joe 2 GlitterInTheAir 2 tommygunner 1 Bex. 1 snuffles22 1 batman. 1 DS Forum Support 1 Well surprise, surprise, Hammer's in the lead again ![]() And just because I can: 42 posts yesterday, 2937 to go 2937/42 = 69.9 = 70 days So it looks like we'll be at Part 4 by...5th April!

Maybe chers gone tan overload, if she has gypsy skin (like me ) she'll tan really easily (:![]() On my iPod, radio is on the main menu, so it might depend on which iPod you have (mine's a 5th generation iPod nano, but I reckon radio would be on all of them apart from maybe the shuffle ). As long as you've got a pair of headphones to plug in (which act as the antennae apparently) you can listen to the radio. On the buses, the signal is 99% perfect (just goes to static very occasionally, and it's usually 'cause I'm holding it in a weird way ), which is awesome ![]() I've never heard 'overload' used in that sense before, but I guess it would make sense ![]() I get the feeling I may have stirred things up again in the main forum, as I do enjoy doing I'm prepared for a huge backlash anyway

Ugh...got a General Studies exam at school at 1:30 today. 1 and a half hour paper in which there are two 50-mark essay questions. Officially The Most Boring Exam Ever™
.Luckily though, it doesn't really matter if I fail it 'cause a lot of universities don't even accept it when you apply anyway. I reckon I'll get another E, just like I did last year

Sounds sick to me. Completely tasteless, not to mention that there was no reason whatsoever to bring her into that. Pure spite.
