Of course, for all I know, her Twitter could've been hacked or something, and it could've been someone else tweeting the haters. Heck, it could even have been Simon Cowell's PR team trying to stir things up, though why they'd want to do that I've no idea. I know I'm clutching at straws here, but I just thought I'd put forward a couple of possibilities other than Cher herself being the culprit.

For many people i'd agree with this, but its often done to excite people about the video - for example Lady Gagas Judas - but for a debut they may want to wait and just have the single come about through airplay on the music channels and then have it spread to radio etc...

Well as I say, I'm not a Lady GaGa fan per se, but her songs are fairly good imo, her current ones have some awesome production though I have to say. I sometimes just like to tune out the voice and listen to that. I still think she was great at Big Weekend as well.

To be honest, a month ago and further back I loved to see the haters futilely having a go like the fools they are, but now that it's getting closer and closer to music actually emerging I'm actually starting to get a bit nervous in case it's a bad omen, as silly as it sounds. She does seem to get a comparatively high amount of abuse, after all.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see.

yeh i'm a bit nervous about it when the single finally drops, you just know she's gonna get a total interweb pasting regardless of what it's like, might have to give the main forum a break too. I dunno how much she reads the web but i expect it's quite a lot and it seems a lot for a 17yr old to take on tbh.

Aw I know exactly what you mean lol. But I guess it could be a positive thing as well since we're not likely to like it just because it's Cher and for no other reason. More discerning, I suppose you could say. I also agree about the internet reaction, there'll be no end of pricks clicking the dislike button and putting negative comments just for the hell of it, it's a pity Cher brings out the worst in internet people.

Yeah that's very true actually, forgot about that. How many views has that audition had in total again, Mozitski? Something like 28 million!? Anyway yeah that kind of music could go down well, though I still think if it's catchy as her Clapping Song mash-up that could do brilliantly as well.
