I have a new Lg42 450 tv, a humax foxsat 320gig pvr,a bush 102 vcr/dvd recorder/ player. How should they be connected. I only want to use the bush to play dvd's. A friend hooked it all up and we couldn't get the dvd to play. HELP please.

Without a few more details can only really give generic advice.

Assuming the TV has a scart socket, connect the hdr via hdmi and the dvd with a scart lead. Watch the hdr by selecting the hdmi input on the TV and the DVD by selecting the scart input, preferably using a RGB scart socket and a fully wired scart cable.

TV has component input so this would be better if DVD has component output.
There is an easy tweek to allow this TV to play full HD movies and 5.1 DD from USB devices, it is superb.
