You probably have to be a Grammy nominee too.

I think that's true for Grammys also but I'd say they would both make an exception...
HIAM was originally supposed to come out in the UK on Feb 20th for "a very good reason" - and the only thing I can think of is a slot on the Brits for promo. It's release was moved forward though but she could still do it.

As for Grammys, Perez (I know, I know) says that he has a good source that says she is. Time will tell

If she's gonna mime, no thanks I'll just watch the music video.

If she's gonna sing live the yes I would love to watch her live.

But i do not want to witness another embarssing performance like Womanizer was on X Factor.

She should do the Brits. Theres no X Factor to go on at this time of year and I don't think she would do Daybreak/This Morning or Dancing on Ice.

You don't have to be nominated in a category - hence Adele is performing.

Unforunately, her image was demanged beyond repair with the bad press of 2007/2008. This is why, despite the improved quality, she hasn't been topping the charts over here. It's also a reason why her management are so unenthusiastic about her doing much, if any, international promotion.

I kinda feel like it's changed now though. Her new song has been very well recieved by the public and music critics. Event organisers/TV execs will still be chomping at the bit to get here on shows, she is guaranteed to bring in extra viewers/press attention.

Surley her management would want her to be big internationally again and top the charts and change peoples perspective on her and by her performing live on the brits it may do so

at the grammys they dont allow acts to mime, i dont mind her miming or singing over the music if she is dancing her arse off but to prove critics wrong she should perform live defo

I really hope so, but i am sure it's been referenced at in interviews etc. that they were going to go MEGA with promo etc. Surely that means Grammy and Brits (with respective interviews etc.)

and i am hoping she'll sing it live allowing for the choreography etc. She has a lot to give this time round

cannot wait!

Hmmm, i don't careabout the dancing though. Its kind off boring, and shes never gonna do dancing as big or as energetic as Beyonce (not that I'm a fan of hers at all). I can just see a Cheryl cole styled performance coming our way.

I am hoping she does both. How many days are there between each date. Enough for her to fly over, rest and prepare?

Britney '01 - 05' danced harder and better than Beyonce ever could. Beyonce does hairogrpahy!

Grammys on Sunday, Brits on Tuesday

I think it's too close together to do 2 big performances. I expect Gaga to be premiering Born This Way at the Grammys so I'm not expecting a BRITs performance unless it's the exact same staging etc.

And I don't think Britney will be performing at the BRITs. Grammys maybe but I can't see them booking her for a show so soon after in case the Grammys doesn't go well and she goes into meltdown mode again.

and the chicken dance don't forget!!

I personally hope she does the Brits instead of the Grammy show really! and start the promo across Europe! of course two huge performances will be the best! but difficult to manage budget wise etc.

maybe they'll get a huge serpent on the stage with circles of fire

I am actually hoping that it'll be really BIG kinda sci-fi gothic performance with theatrics etc.

Here's how I'd like to see the promo go...

Early Feb - video premiere and chat show appearances in America

Grammys appearance, maybe hand out an award or something

Brits performance, then chat show/radio appearances in the UK. Ideally she would be here for 10 days

Quick tour of Europe, including France, Germany etc.

Back to America for lots of promo in the lead up to the album release. Ideally she would start this two weeks prior to release.

Then Japan and maybe a trip back to Europe.
