As I've stated many time I don't love her. How can I love (or hate) someone I don't know?

I knew nothing of her until DOI when, as a result of the hatred espoused on this forum, I googled for info; since when I've simply given her the benefit of the doubt and expressed the hope that she grabs this opportunity and thus turns her life around.

Only time will tell whether she successfully rehabilitates herself - until then, as I've said all along, I'll reserve judgement.

Personally I'm surprised that her detractors cannot convey their perfectly valid views without resorting to subhuman references.

I haven't voted for her and it's highly unlikely that I'll do so whilst there are better performers out there.

So can that be the last time you make assumptions in relation to my opinion of KK.

I got slated for commenting on MAtt "joking" about Dominic getting rushed to hospital the other day, matt thought it was funny to put on twitter that Dominic was about to get rushed to A&E turns out it was a joke, I mentioned I didnt think joking about someone being hurt was very funny and got slated for it. I still dont think this was a funny thing to do and as it came from a professionl long term person on the show then he should have known better. Lost a lot of respect for Matt this year and not just because of this incident, I hope they get rid of him before next year.

Love is a subjective term of course. But I think love is a strong emotion of affection expressed towards to someone or something that is so strong that it will remain no matter what that someone or something does, and for example in spite of damning evidence that someone has done something reprehensible.

You say you're reserving judgement but you're not, you're denying what is fact and it doesn't matter that you've never met her, it is a still a distant unrequited love of sorts. If this isn't the case, why defend her....why would you care??

I dont know Why Phil is repeating anything she says.

I do feel sorry for Kerry, even though she irritates me. I don't think being on a TV show like DOI will help her to get better. She needs some normality, not more headlines and drama.

I agree. The fact that she is prone to making such comments proves that she's not quite ready to be back in the public eye.

As I stated in another thread:

she's on the 'inside pissing in' and I don't think she thought (infact I believe that she 'thinks' very little) through the consequences of making such a comment - the possible affect that this may have on both public opinion of her aswell as the opinion of other contestants.

I'm probably one of her biggest detractors, but even I was prepared to give her a chance after the Alan Carr interview. However, after hearing this comment I realised my initial instincts, that she was a nasty tabloid phony, were infact correct.

At the risk of being controversial, who's to say it was an insult? Why can't it have been a compliment? Put it in a different context and remember they were discussing do we get rid of rivals or weak skaters and she says well bye Laura. If she and Laura have previously had conversations about being rivals then it would be just a simple harmless joke.

She won't. Her 'people' will have her well warned against doing that.

Kerry might also like to worry about Johnson who is so sweet and unassuming that he inspires people to vote for him. He is improving steadily. To coin a phrase it is not all about you Kerry and the rest of the girls

Tracey, that's what I don't get, why pick on LH - it just appears to be spiteful which goes against how KK is attempting to portray herself.

None of us were there so we dont know 100% what happened she may have said other names for all we know and others may also have joked about who they'd get rid of.

She 'MAY' have, but we do know that she said Laura and because of the apparent backtracking by Phil and Robin it doesn't sit right with me. I'm sure they've all got their thoughts about who they'd like to vote off but I think it was a gross misjudgement to openly express who she'd like to 'say goodbye' to.

Phil wasnt even there so I personally wouldnt go on what he said, anything he put was 2nd hand info and not to say he didnt post the whole story! Were you there to know exactly what was said??

Phil commented there were those who said they wouldnt know whether to vote fo keep the best skater or their drinking buddies and bye Laura.......these comments must have come from somewhere for Phil to repeat them so IMO there is a lot of truth to his comments tweeted about KK and Denise
Lesley said that there will be a little candle of light in the back of their brains saying get rid of the best

As I say IMO getting rid of Laura has been commeted on by certain celebs and if it was somehow a joke I think it was in very bad taste

Im getting sick of the public rewarding these bad boy/girl celebs by voting for them when they start with their sob stories of how they dont drink/do drugs anymore

It would be an act of desperation on their parts to vote to get rid of Laura. But I guess we already know they are desperate. In my view the only way they can redeem themselves now is to vote to keep Laura, if the scenario arises. I too am sick of this type of 'celeb' being lauded, people wonder why this country has societal problems but its no suprise when people like them are regarded as role models.

Kerry is better all ready, I have liked her since she was on Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, I felt so sad when she went down hill after her marriage to Brian fell apart.
I have met her and she is so down to earth and very nice, I am really glad that she is back to her old self, I have just seen her on loose women was so nice to see her back on there.

Well she is terrified that she is not going to win - now that everyone knows she does next to no skating. T&D have got to push her- by cutting out the lifts that are what her routines amount to.

Sam, best skater
Laura, solid all round, maybe suspect following, but judges love
Jennifer, Hollyoaks support and good skater
Johnson, national respect for him, improving as skater

I would have put Chloe in there - but she hasn't got the fanbase

Would you have been so bothered had she said Sam or Jen or Chloe whos are all threats to Kerry?
