I hope it's Jeff. His skating isn't great and I really can't take to him.

Hopefully Kerry. It really goes without saying now that she's a poor skater and a fake.

I think Dominic and Denise will be in the bottom two, and as there is a twist to the voting (correct me if I am wrong) where the contestants decide who gets to stay, I would imagine Dominic will stay and Denise will go

As long as Johnson doesn't get kicked out. He has potential, think he might be the Donal McIntyre of this year. And he is a better skater than a few of the zelebs already

What was his joke?

Its a tough call as to who will go as its still very much on the public first of all.

I think Dominic or Denise will go this week but personally I wouldn't miss Sam, Laura or Jeff. I know Sam and Laura are "brilliant" but just can't take to them at all don't know what it is just I get left cold watching them perform.

Jeff I don't dislike as such but don't really like either which I'm surprised about as thought I would have liked him more than I do on this show as I think he is a good presenter and enjoy watching him but on this I just think get it over with.

Following day Jen post about going to A&E and of course people didnt know if to believe it or not due to Matts previous "joke" turns out she was injured.

Why do you think that?

Can you really see the other contestants voting out the war hero? Johnson is as safe as houses.

you've only posted half the story

Matt also included a twitpic of Dominic with the white pads under his eyes getting his eyelashes dyed .. so if people read the tweet and clicked on the pic they would see that it was a joke

Quote:
“@corkyonice somethings happened to Dom.. Off to A&E!! http://yfrog.com/h2an5nj”

followed by this

Quote:
“Kidz Dom wasn't injured it was a joke.. He was having his eye lashes tinted.. For the HD tele courtesy of the amazing Renea (make up artist)”

I agree it could have made people jump but if they looked at the pic it was obvious that he wasn't injured .. so not in the best taste but please tell the whole story rather than leaving the punchline off

bit clutching at straws linking Jen's tweet to Matt's joke though .. it was obviousl to me they were two seperate incidents . one a joke and one real

I think you may be taking some of the skater's online activities to heart too much .. didn't you start a thread the other day saying you'd lost all respect for Mark Hanretty because he's posted about training with one of the subs and didn't react to his fans hoping that someone got injured so that he could scate so therefore must condone it?

each to their own I suppose though

We know the bottom two from the scores and votes will skate off, and the other couples will choose who to eliminate.

If they can agree between them to do it as the judges do, then they should pick the best performer in the skate off, which should be the one with the higher scoring routine, provided 1. the judges didn't screw up the scoring in the first place and 2. the skaters perform relative to each other the same as they did in the show. It may, therefore, be no less contentious than any other week (weird outcomes of initial judging and voting aside).

What would be interesting is if we could see a voting pattern that suggested whether or not the viewers trust the skaters more than the judges to make the correct call....

In my opinion they are the weakest skaters left - especially Denise, so I would prefer Dominic to stay. But as their fellow contestants would choose who stays, it would come down to personality I guess, and who they like best - Dominic comes across as sincere and polite, I really cannot comment on Denise

I'm pretty sure they will all know how they are going to vote before the skate-off takes place, and maybe even before the show takes place. I'm not sure how relevant the skate-off is even when it's up to the judges to decide - unless someone really makes a monumental cock-up and even then, I'm not sure they wouldn't be excused.

I feel sorry for the poor sod that has to vote last, what if its a 4/4 split and one has the deciding vote thats gonna be the most hated celeb after that how are they gonna decide what order they have to say who they want to save/go.

And he is improving very quickly- get himself to Karen Hardy's dance studio and he will have the lot. And I hope and think he is picking up a lot of votes. He deserves to stay. I think Sam, Laura, Jennifer and Johnson will be the final 4

If they have to go along the line and just say who they are keeping they will just follow each other (bit like on BB when the had to vote live)

So whoever is voted for first will go

If they have to write it down on a board and reveal the name then thats a diffrent kettle of fish

Johnson's got a few weeks left in him for definite - not only was he one of the relatively few to actually improve on their previous week's score, but his approach and personality will be winning him more fans the longer he stays in. Jodeyne should help his cause as she seems lovely.

I'd quite like Jeff, Kerry or Denise to be in the skate-off next week - partly because I've found them the least entertaining, and partly because I reckon they're the three who would be most deflated by being voted off by their peers. Yes, I know I'm not very nice

One thing I do hope is that Dominic finds an extra gear and stays in. His skate-off was a lot better than his initial performance last week and he seems like a lovely, genuine fella, a proper antidote to Brazier/Katona-style OTTness elsewhere. Plus I really like Alexandra, who deserves a run with someone who can actually improve a bit.

Jeff or Dominic.

Difficult to predict now who will be bottom 2 - Dom may be an obvious candidate having been there last week but he could get a bounce back vote this week especially if he improves (which I think he's capable of). All the others in the middle/bottom all seem to have a fanbase but someone must have a lower one - haven't a clue who though..

I completely agree with all of your post including the praises for Jodyene and Alex.
