Kevin Nash has confirmed what Dixie Carter also said and that he did infact sign a contract with TNA in January but decided to back out early after watching a few Impacts. Interesting to note that one Impact he talked about was only last week, 3 days before the Royal Rumble.

Dixie says she would hate for Sting to go to WWE.

About Impact last night:

Spoiler
If it makes sense, why did Crimson choke AJ Styles on the January 20th Impact and warn him that 'They were coming'?

Well it wouldn't make sense to just keep threatening members of Immortal would it?

I am sure there is a US Pace thread for TNA, can you not post your spoilers there instead of spoiling this thread. Thank-you for your cooperation.

There isn't one, because there has never been any need for one as the Impact episodes previously aired on a 2 day delay on Bravo, and even now, will only be airing on a 5 day delay on Challenge.

The things that people are talking about are things that aired several weeks ago, before a U.K. tv deal was signed, and when the shows were widely available to watch on the TNA website for U.K. fans.

As of this coming Tuesday (Feb 8th), when last night's February 3rd episode airs on Challenge, we will be up to date with the U.S.

Still, apologies if I have inadvertently spoilt your viewing.

There is a spoilers thread and with Impact now being on a 5 day delay i can see myself using it more often.

Where is it? If it's on page 34 of this forum, no offence, but people just aren't going to use it.

I mentioned something I know, but even that airs in the U.K. this Sunday night.

I think as long as people do what you have been doing and use the spoiler tags, we'll be fine.

The US pace thread was set up because people kept coming into the UK pace thread and continuously leaving unmarked spoilers.

I have no problems with US pace spoilers in this thread if they're marked. I like to see the general banter from those who are watching it at US pace as the UK pace one got very quiet.

Fair enough.

There is something of a grey area though, as shows that aired during January aired during a time when there was no UK tv deal, but the shows were available via the TNA website to U.K. fans.

So my A.J. Styles comment may be construed as a spoiler to some, given that it airs on Challenge this Sunday night, but at the same time, it aired over 2 weeks ago on the TNA website, before the Challenge tv deal was even announced, and people discussed the angle at the time in the former TNA thread, 'TNA Wrestling on Bravo'.

I think anything mentioned up to the February 3rd (8th in the U.K.) Impact shouldn't be construed as any sort of spoiler.

I stopped reading that old TNA UK pace thread due to the amount of spoilers and stopped watching TNA because it was spoilt for me. I have come back and started watching again (and also Christopher Daniels as Suicide & Sharkboy are back)
But the US pace should leave alone this thread as it is clealry marked "on challenge" and that is what should be discussed in here, when shown on challenge only.

With that said last night was a good episode with sharkboy appearance and decent matches. Except you can tell when the matches are taped on different days due to crowd changes. Quality seemed good as Bravo better than extreme sports and was in widescreen on sky.

The 2/3 edition of TNA Impact did a 1.31 rating with 1,953,000 viewers. Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter:

"Last night was our 2nd highest rated Thursday night iMPACT! ever!! Thank you all so much!! Lots of great TV coming up... Stay tuned."

Now all of you can make sure it gets a monster rating on Challenge TV!

I hope this Jarrett thing goes somewhere soon.

iMPACT is rediculously slow paced as it is, the MMA stuff just brings the show to a brick wall stop.

I wonder how many people actually know that Challenge is on Freeview.

None of my family and friends know. And they know it as the channel that shows dated gameshows.

I figure many others will see it the same way.

There has been almost zero advertisement, if any.

It will be interesting to see if the UK rating goes up now it's available on freeview.

It will, eventually. It would be crazy not to considering there are many more homes in the UK with freeview than there are with pay television. Hell, Quest on freeview attacts 150,000 viewers for its top rated show. And now Channel One has closed, people with move to Challenge for their fix of reruns.

TNA's solid fanbase in the UK was about 50,000, with another 50,000 watching as it signed the likes of Hogan and Flair. Many of them will rediscover TNA within the next couple of months.

I agree it's about time we had some free to view Wrestling. I remember that horrible WCW show on channel 5 all those years ago.
