Well it's obvious really since female wrestlers probably have a shorter career than their male counterparts. If they've got the opportunity to get paid and to secure a future for themselves and their family then I suspect that would always come before their work ethic.

Isn't that why Gail left before she returned?

On a completely different note, does anyone know what James Mitchell is up to these days?
(Talk about going from beauty to the beast! )

I have to defend Devon, I think hes incredibly over with the crowd and they are using him nicely to give Garrett the rub. The 'we want Devon' chant at Wembley when bully ray came out is evidence that his place on the roster is still justified.

Incidentally I think the way they are gently pushing Garrett is just right and it will be interesting to see him work his way up.

They should raid New Japan if they want real women wrestlers.

I'm calling ARIES to be the leader of the Aces&Eights group. Don't know why, just am.

I think it will either be Jarrett or Bischoff

There a lot of good women wrestlers in canada aswell Lufesto,Madison rain and I do feel they need Portia Prez she could be a good heel for the company same with Nicole Matthews. And it could just give the WWE women title some competion. But again WWE have Sara Del Ray so how is TNA going to top that.

Does that stand for anything in particular.

Security is terrible heh first that rejected Gut Check wrestler (can't remember his name) interferes and then the Aces and Eights wonder round beating up everyone is sight, I know it adds to the "drama" and isn't real life but it can get a bit silly.

Didn't get why Kurt blamed James Storm for the attack at the end, I know he was supposed to be acting suspicious and all and the Announcers were suggesting it was him that was the leader but he had just chased them away.

Another Solid Impact, do feel like we need a bit more from the Ace's and 8's now, maybe one reveal just to keep the intrigue. Some good matches, but again Gut Check seemed silly,Douglas Williams schooled the guy, and he wasn't even "young" talent, he was 28, which should be prime, not just starting with a big comapny. I did like Aries in charge of the X-Div, but didn't understand the point of Bobby Roode pretending to leave?

Could be to do with money. if you believe what you read in some of the dirt sheets, TNA are trying to restructure some of the deals so that people get paid per appearance so maybe she felt that she wouldn't get paid enough if she wasn't used on TV. Can't blame her really if that's the case.

Aces and Eights storyline was marginally advanced with Roode accusing Storm of leading the group because he was jealous. Storm denies it but the show ends with the AA8 attacking everyone but him.

Sam Shaw puts in a decent performance and gets hired in Gut Check. Joey Ryan sucker punches Al Snow and runs away!

Styles/Daniels story takes a break for a week but Styles and Storm have a great match.

Super match between Kenny King and Zema Ion.

Bully Ray/Abyss storyline takes a break for a week, faces off against Kurt Angle in the main event in a pretty good match.

It was a good Impact but fell into the same trap as it has been recently - did next to nothing to further some of the main storylines. They're clearly burning time until BFG.

Many thanks for that re-cap, that is very kind of you for that.

I was just watching the TNA dvd that I have of the 50 best moments in TNA history, and you know what is missing from TNA (and WWE) at the moment, good Vignettes.
TNA has this realy rubbish pretend the camera man is hiding and the wrestlers don't know he is there type thing going on, which is absolute codswalopp really.

I remember the Abyss going to Christian's house and drowning him in his pool, and other things like that, where they do things away from the arena (Jeff attacking Hulk in Japan with his guitar), why do we not see things like that anymore?
I am not saying that they should all be like that, but having everything done backstage is pretty naff really I think anyway.

I think those sorts of angles are very Russo-esque. You don't really see them in WWE either. But Russo loved them - remember Sting fighting Vampiro in a graveyard in wCw?

I agree that the odd vignette/segment produced outside the arena can be very effective, but they should be used sparingly.

Don't know if they mean it this way, but the "Occupy" protest movement has the slogan "We are the 99%" against the 1% who have all the money and power.

There are some pretty poor storylines on the go at the moment, Aces and Eights, A.J. Rohypnol, but the Joey Ryan saga is evolving brilliantly. He said more than once that 87% of the fans on Twitter wanted him to get a "Yes" and a contract.

Oh I agree that they shouldn't be used every single time, but to have everything enclosed in the arena is a bit naff, as it is only a small one at that.

I am only asking for something a bit different from time to time, that is all. (I do hate though the current pretend camera man who is hiding, and the wresters don't see them, which as I say is codswallopp really).

You think Aces and Eights is a bad storyline?

I'm really intrigued by it. TNA have done a great job at keeping the identities and motivations secret.

However, they need to up the ante; let's see a DX/nWo level of mayhem, heck, get Universal Studios involved. They wanna go for hostile takeover, then they gotta go the whole damn way with it. At a minute, no matter how good the idea is, the execution is nWo-lite and a little slow.

Aces and Eights has to be one of the most ridiculous names for a wrestling stable ever.

Despite that, it will be interesting to see how the angle developes over the upcoming weeks. I presume the identities will be revealed at or near Bound for Glory.

I likethe stable name, but they should advance it "dead mans hand", sounds much more menacing. I like the pace of the stroyline, but it just needed a little more last night, having the Storm red-herring just felt like padding. They should have had one reveal, or at least a big clue.

I've never watched wrestle talk but I have watched the pro wrestling report for years. I'll definitely check out wrestle talk.

Also AJ Styles talking to Wrestlecast from The Sun.
