wow .. is anyone actually going to talk about actual wrestling ?

I know. It's turned into another WWE vs TNA kiddie thread.

I thought Against All Odds was decent, Jeff Hardy regaining the belt was a bit of a surprise, I thought they would be pushing Mr Anderson.
Was good to see Hernandez back, but this whole 'white boy' stuff was not needed, did he forget Matt Morgan put him on the shelf?
Dudley vs Dudley was potentially going to be poor, but the ending was sold a bit well.

What match was missing from the black-hole in the middle?

The only things you can talk about is TNA's far inferior ratings to WWE and how much better WWE is in at everything.

It was the 'last woman standing' match apparently.

I kind of guessed the ending to the dudley's match when the kids came down midway through.

I remembered when Bubba put 80-odd year old Mae Young through a table quite safely so I thought it wouldn't be much of a stretch to do the same with one of D'Von's kids. But then D'Von sold it quite well which leads me to wonder if there's going to be some kind of cage match blow-off to the fued or some kind of "death" match.

I did skip the stuff with Matt Morgan, but only on principle

WWE has been crap since it went PG. I find TNA is much more entertaining.

And I don't give a flying **** about ratings.

We got to see the first ever Challenge Temporary Fault screen during Against All Odds, accompanied by the well known Sky Sports/Box Office (off air)/TV Guide/Temporary Fault music.

Went black for ages (after an ad-break) then the fault screen sort of scrolled onto the screen from top-down as if it was done by a PC

I believe that fault was also on the +1 showing and wouldn't be surprised to see it again on the repeat on Sunday. Terrible that their editing that match out when Bravo never used to do that.

The fault would have been on +1 too because it literally is a displaced timeshift.

Anyone who has a go at TNA should watch this week's Smackdown for some real comedy booking.

Ratings are disappointing but not unexpected to be honest.

As long as Dixie doesn't panic and make drastic changes

I wonder if a lot of people stayed up for the repeat.

First official ratings out for the new Impact episodes:

08/02 - 134,000
- 5th most watched programme on Challenge

Compared with:

WWE Raw: 149,000 (Live) + 49,000 (Friday repeat)
WWE SmackDown: 133,000 (1st run) + 33,000 (Saturday repeat)

big number for TNA but massive number for a live raw.

be interesting if both companys can hold there ratings or even grow.

Not bad figures considering there's very little promotion to a casual viewer (though I doubt the casual viewer watches wrasslin)

Makes me wonder what RAW could achieve broken away from a paywall
