Ultimate X matches these days just tend to be gimmicks, that don't even use the X Division style.

I agree they should use the old format with the X above the ring. Some of those matches were unbelievable and made TNA different from WWE.

I feel what TNA should do is create 2 distinct divisions, although it might not work in practice.
All upper card bouts under "relaxed rules", basically No DQ, so that they are naturally more unpredictable. This way referee bumps/distractions can go, use of run-in's and weapons become more natural. Reboot the X-Division as what it was meant to be. No weight limits, clean finishes and respect between the wrestlers. |

Even though WWE looks at the PG Bieber market, it seems the crowd is, how shall I put it, very high pitched at TNA events.
And as for the 33 rip off thingy...it makes me cringe, they have to better than that, anyway old news... |

Apparantly there were 3,500 fans there so it was a good crowd.

This is the first time I've watched TNA on Challenge, and first time I've watched it in a good 2-3 months. I see Mr Anderson is still an annoying berk!

Getting bored of the lack of clean finishes now
And I'm seriously bored of the Jarrett - Angle angle. I couldn't give a damn about Hogan's return. I think it's time for me to go on a break from TNA. |

I don't know how to take Impact this week.
I mean the Magnus v Crimson match was too short and after watching Xpolsion I felt that THAT match should have been on Impact. I didn't get why they had the Pope/Joe interviews from after their match at AAO when they had Pope in the ring bad mouthing Joe last week it would have fit better having it last week going into that segment instead of halfway through an impact neither were even on. I think there were too many backstage interviews As for Kurt Angle being added to the main event I really did just sit there and get totally lost. It was so random. Its the thing that annoys me about TNA, you could see from what they had that the show could have been brilliant but some of the matches were too short and there was too many moments that just took away from the show itself. |

Er, you do know Vince Russo is the writer don't you?
The only thing of note in that Dixie youshoot video was she said over and over again she wouldn't fire him.One of the good things (I remember) from the dying days of WCW was that Bischoff/Russo lightened up on the matches and put this across on television. What I mean is the referees were easy going on the action which usually involved weapons and run-in's. Don't hold out much hope for the X Division going back to what it was (2002 - 2006), but I live in hope! |

Does anyone know what TNAS big UK announcement is?
http://twitter.com/jeremyborash Seems like you need to be in London to get the free signed merchandise but why is it all happening? |

TNA are having some sort of UK fan party. They're giving tickets out and borash is giving out details via Twitter
Why they didn't find a venue in Birmingham or something I'll never know. |

After watching the preview clips on YouTube, they look awesome in a busy arena with the crowd into it. Different from Universal Studios to be sure.

TNA Impact got its highest rating in America since January 4th 2010. It got a 1.4 rating and one particular quarter got a 1.52! Great news.

It's all about consistency, though. The Main Event Mafia kept ratings consistent for weeks... even months. If they'd have come back as "They", I can't imagine what would have happened. |

It was indeed. It is a great number to have gotten. There is no harm in mentioning the ratings here because it doesnt spoil anything but i think after Tuesday comes and goes and we can discuss the ratings properly, i think a lot of people will be surprised at what actually drew the 1.52 rating. I think it says a lot about what people want to see from TNA or at least what people were interested in the most from Thursday.

I really think TNA needs to cut back on monthly pay-per-views (maybe to six a year or even less) and concentrate on the TV stuff. It's what they seem to be most bothered about and always give away loads of stuff for free anyway.
Taking Impact out on the road once every couple months would be great. |

It was not their highest rated Thursday show (October 14, 2010 beat it) and they've hit 1.9 million viewers on a number of occasions. It was a good number considering the competition.
1.36 (1.4) was a good rating. However I still think they should be pushing towards PPVs rather than Spike tv shows.

That was the 3 Hour Live show, was it not? Against RAW no less. Both numbers are excellent in their own right. Glad TNA's numbers are growing as the product begins to show signs of life after 12 months of misery.

Don't post spoilers unless in tags like above. So tempted to read it but looking forward to tonights show so won't. |
