I enjoy watching Impact.

Not so struck on the witch's spell Winter has on Angelina. When will that stop?

Eric Young is brilliant. Just tremendous.

Eric Young = Ratings

His character reminds me so much of Mr. Bean. He's clearly not all there, but he's still an absolute bloody genius.

He is portrayed so much more tastefully than Eugene from WWE, probably one of the most inappropriate things they have ever done.

Did WWE schedule the Captial Punishment PPV deliberately on June 19th, so TNA couldn't have their Slammiversary PPV on the exact anniversary date of their first show on June 19th 2002?

I do seem to recall a news story last year saying exactly this. I'll see if I can find it.

Thought Impact was pretty strong yesterday (although that's not saying much these days).

Although it did tickle me ironically that they seemed to spend more time about saying "Wrestling matters" - than actually showing it

Only problem is I watched some of Xplosion afterwards - the X Division King of The Mountain Match from Slammiversary 2009.

Made me remember just how good TNA used to be.

I've enjoyed TNA the last couple of weeks. The whole Winter/Angelina stuff is a bit odd, but I like it. But I just couldn't get into Angle/RVD, I found myself browsing forums rather than paying attention to the match.

Angle/RVD was one helluva great match -- one move in particular I've never seen before.

Winter & Zombie Ken Gaga. I've bitched about this enough already. Probably the worst storyline in the history of wrestling. Dull, overlong, phoney and makes a total mockery of wrestling with Zombie Ken's ability to ignore blows. I can't believe TNA have stuck with this embarrassment.

However, highlight of the week just has to be: Desmond Wolfe on Xplosion, after speaking to Robbie E, saying "What a Helen Hunt." My jaw dropped... and then I cracked up laughing.

I actually hope we do see Hogan v Sting at Bound For Glory, would be a fantastic way to end possibly both men's careers. I just hope it isn't the main event - as a spectacle/event it will be special, but as a match, it will be terrible. It would be like if Bret vs Vince had been made the main event that time they fought at Wrestlemania.

Just got tickets for the Wembley show - I was there on the dot at 9:00 but the ringside tickets had all gone, they'll probably be on ebay before the end of the day

Don't know what the picture quality is like on satellite but the Impact (Challenge) picture on freeview is a pretty dire 544x576 resolution. I find it gets too blocky on fast action and you actually get a much better picture from just downloading it.

Impact is a good show but Challenge isn't a good channel to showcase it on. Be much better if they could swap Challenge and PickTV+1 around as Pick+1 offers a better picture and tbh who cares about that channel anyway?

Just feel Impact is unnecessarily being crippled, on Freeview at least.

The picture quality isn't great on Freeview, and Challenge is a hard channel to pick up anyway, I can only get it on the TV in my house with an outdoor aerial, the TV in my room has a boosted indoor one that can get quite a lot of channels, but not Challenge, Dave etc.

I think when people are picking what wrestling show to watch though, picture quality shouldn't be an issue. It's not as if it's YouTube quality or anything.

Well that's the point, on fast moving action it pratically is like youtube. It just seems ridiculous to me that Challenge is crippled with 544x576 when PickTV+1 is 720x576.

Surely Challenge picks up more viewers than Pick+1 so they should really be given the better viewing experience. It's not like SKY don't own both channels and any switch should be fairly simple I'd have thought.

Well has anyone been listening to talksport?

Kurt has announced that he will be trying out for the USA Olympic team for the Olympics in 2012, so I guess he will be written off of storylines shortly.

I do hope this is still all a bit of a joke, Kurt would be injured beyond the point of no return in tryouts, let alone at the Olympics. I fear for his sanity if there is any truth in this at all

I think he will be alright to be honest. He sound like he was confident. In fact, if he qualifies I am definitely going get the tickets for that session!
