I will say TNA has been really quite solid throughout of all of January...so those episodes are worth watching.

Challenge will broadcast catch-up episodes of iMPACT! every day from midnight until new episodes are then broadcast weekly from Feb 8 at 10pm.

So basically we need to watch every night until the 8th then they are new.

Bloomberg reporting that Panda Energy International profits are down 43%, a shock to the industry, after higher than expected expenses.

It's expected to sell some land and is in talks with NRG Group, a competitor over the sale of a new Ethanol plant

that can't be good for tna

Getting new sponsers is a must now but look at the problems mtv's skins had...wrestling is seen as lower standards that that

I might start watching TNA properly again once it's re-established on Challenge. I do tend to think i've drifted away from wrestling - i'm loathe to say 'grown out of' - but I still keep up with all the news and happenings, so i certainly think i'll try again and see how i go.

It's probably safer on the basis it's the daughters toy.

Still, with Bischoff, Hogan and Flair all taking pay cuts you have to question the logic of bringing back more 'veteran names' on big pay days. That's one of the many mistakes WCW made

Viewers in Wales will not get Challenge on Freeview after 6pm...so no TNA for us
Nooooo.. I was looking forward to finally being able to watch some wrestling.
I was already annoyed at the lack of Channel 4 HD, due to Clirlun being there instead.

yep i wonder how much "fat" hardy is on?????

TNA needs major investment like you said so many people with big pay checks that dont even wrestle that often.

TNA is doing the same ratings they were doing 18 months ago, and worse house show business than they were doing 18 months ago, back when they weren't paying out money for Hogan, Bischoff, both Hardys, RVD, and Mr Anderson.

That's 6 guys, all on at the very least $250k a year, so that's an added expense of at least $1.5million, for no extra benefit and at a time when revenue has dropped.

That's bad business in absolutely anyone's book.

Exactly. Spike TV are paying some of the bigger name talent and are putting some money towards the road Impacts, but no idea how much.

They gambled on them bringing in higher ratings but they didnt. Just a business risk that didnt pay off, simple as that.

That was more fool them than anything else. TNA's main problem over the last number of years has been inconsistent booking by Russo and co. TNA has tried multiple gimmicks in order to boost ratings, rather than dealing with the biggest issue.

At this stage, the only way Hulk Hogan is worth anything to TNA is if the merchandise is selling by the truck load or is his name is attracting sponsors and increased as sales. The same can be said for all the big names they signed. The hope was that association with Hogan and Bischoff would increase awareness of TNA and lead to making contacts in the television business. Obviously they believed ratings and buyrates would rise too.

God only knows why they signed Tazz as announcer when they had the much more famous Mick Foley signed to another big money contract.

Hardy, RVD and Anderson do work live events... and Anderson has untapped potential due to his promo skills. All 3 have become TNA's biggest merchandise movers.

Please can someone remind me what happened on the last edition of TNA on Bravo as I have forgot. My brain troubles me

Then I can check it with any of the catch up episodes that air on Challenge TV.

Here are the results from tonight's TNA show in Glasgow.

A friend of mine attended the live event and sent the following results to me via text message. By all accounts it was a great show. Even his girlfriend enjoyed it!

X-Division Champion Kaz def Shannon Moore, Chris Sabin and Mark Harkins

Mickie James and Angelina Love def Madison Rayne and Tara

Jeff Jarrett def Lionheart with Still Game star Greg Hempill as the special referee

TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money with Ric Flair def The British Invasion

Dixie Carter came to the ring and announced that Impact will air on Challenge TV in the near future in the UK

Matt Morgan defeated Pope

TNA Champion Ken Anderson and Rob Van Dam def The Hardys

Sorry if this can't be done, but what about using TVCatchup which shows all the freeview from a London base (Meaning Challenge will be there soon). Pretty sure IP addresses in Wales aren't blocked from the service. Worth checking out.

It gradually got better after the 2nd 'Monday Night Wars', but man was that a bad period for TNA. Nothing could go right. But they caused so much self harm by booking nonsesense like Hogan's HoF ring give Abyss power, and having Hogan and Flair wrestle each other in slow motion on the first show. Could have made money too by booking their return to the ring on PPV, in intelligently booked matches. Not hyping the debuts of Hardy and RVD was another wasted opportunity.
