I've never bothered to watch X-Plosion. Is there anything meaningful on the show, or is it just recaps from Impact with just a couple of original matches on it like Metal used to be in the attitude era?

What happened to Velvet Sky? Was she not on the show?

#iWantPigeons! The problem with a large roster and only 1 show is that you cant get everyone on all the time. She'll be back next week I'm sure. As for the BFG series: I'm sure at some point everyone will have faced everyone else several times... they're ackowledging house shows etc too, so eventually they'll mix it up. Wrrestling rarely works when guy A fights guy B for no reason, so you can work mini-stories into the series too (like joes losing streak, immortal sticking together). |

#iWantPigeons! Would anyone agree that Velvet is the most over female wrestler right now? |

I'd say so, but she's being misused. Seems every week someone else wants to beat on Velvet, instead of letting her into the title picture where she belongs.
I have to say Winter is the hottest diva since Torrie Wilson... |

I thought they announced that Velvet has a 2 against 1 handicap match next week against ODB and Jackie with the stipulation that those two are banished forever if they lose, but it was getting late so maybe I got that wrong.
Tessmacher is a strange one isn't she? Great body, face looks more attractive with the glasses on. This week we saw her do the "ass-tastic" (?) move that she revealed as her new idea on Xplosion the previous week. She demonstated it on Orlando Jordan. A slightly more palatable version of the "Stink-Face". I'm still not sure if I like the Spin Cycle feature where they are "behind the scenes" and so at least partially out of character. The Mexican America storyline is a fairly obvious cliché with the concerns about immigration so often in the news in the USA. Not sure how good the idea is for the Brits to challenge them. I do quite like Sarita and Rosita's little holding hands descending wiggle dance that they do before walking down the ramp. The mini-gimmick of whistling by Hernandez is quite effective as a way of making him into a more irritating heel. |

So, Madison Raine has been off TV to get her boobs done. Funny. Many of them complain about being underpaid, yet she's off spending thousands on implants. I'll never understand why women, especially in Wrestling, feel the need to add extra weight up top. Trish Stratus, Lita, Stephanie McMahon, Velvet Sky, all with very questionable "improvements." I see them as a possible hindrance and would be quite concerning if there were to be a problem, especially during a live event. Quote:

Looks like August 25th is the date of the next Impact Wrestling taping outside of Orlando Florida. The show starts at 7pm and it is on a Thursday so they could tape and air it that night if they wanted to.

I really hope they do. Broadcasting live is a necessity to compete more, as a lot of people just read spoilers currently, which can often suffer from bias. Nitro had a big advantage over RAW in the old days because it was broadcast live.

I don't understand the love for Winter/Katie Lea. Seriously?
She's not ugly, but she'd be nowhere near the top 10 (or 20, or 30) hottest divas/knockouts. |

She looks more sophisticated than your typical Diva, who are usually all about the bleach blonde hair and the big tits. Plus her face is a lot prettier than Mickie James or Madison Rayne.
Worst looking diva is Angelina Love...ewwwwwww! ![]() (Not counting ODB or Jackie...) |

TNA going live is a nice feature, but they're very little difference between a live and taped show. |

Really? I find there's a much better intensity when Impact is live.
Also I think that with TNA taping many shows in a row, the crowd can get burnt out after being there for over 3 hours. Then you have to "sweeten" the crowd noise to make it seem like people react. |

It didn't. The internet had zero penetration in those days and unless Bischoff gave away the Raw results, which wasn't all the time, nobody knew it was taped or knew the results.

Didn't Bischoff frequently give the RAW results away at the start of the show? I didn't see Nitro very often but from what I'd read I thought it was basically a regular occurance...

It wasn't as often as people think, he did it a few times, but it wasn't every week. There were a few big ones though, like when he revealed who the higher power of the ministry of darkness was, which had been a huge cliffhanger on the previous episode of Raw.

no one mentioned impact doing a 1.1 this week.
They seem to be on a complete see-saw at the minute, they will find there feet soon enough
