You know what, I'm not even going to view that video, because some take the numbers of views as some confirmation of their importance.
It's really tricky isn't it? We are very lucky to have Ali visit us, and lots of us tweet him. And sometimes you wonder if he thinks "not her again!" but you want him to know that you admire what hes done and are interested in what hes doing. And if he tweets back it really makes your day. The few on the thread who have met Matt were very dumbstruck, which is understandable, and the vast majority would never feel an entitlement or expectation about the situation.
The shame is that Matt may start avoiding fans, which is totally understandable, but he's been such a love I really hope that doesn't happen.
These fans are young, and seem to be lacking that self moderating system which stops less desirable behavior.

yep Matt did look uncomfortabe in that street twitcam but to be honest its only because we are such avid fans we watch this most poeple would not ..quess he is going to have to get used to quite a bit of this sort of thing (not from us I hasten to add)..but it is the price of fame..

TBH - We keep saying Matt is a charmer and a natural communicator......if he wanted out of a particular situation, he could get himself out....without too much collateral damage imo

I wondered this as well, regarding tweeting Ali. I only put in the odd response to things he's posted, yes and once he tweeted back which was fun. I actually PM'd him today with a genuine query regarding a Darwyn CD but still felt a bit intrusive doing so.

As most know, I am one of the dumbstruck few (not usually a term applied to me!) and I could have loitered outside WH Smiths until he left that day. My age stops me doing that but also the fact that I had had my "moment" and Matt was at work at that point. I hope that even if i had been much younger I would have known to not ask for anything further. If I met him randomly in the street, would I approach? Probably not, but I would stare!
