afternoon all - on train home so will be in front of he telly by 7.30 - wanted him on first but only so I could switch the rest of it off - no worries!!

Just havin a little listen to Aiden doing some live stuff after he left xf - he really didnt get a fair crack of the whip at all did he. Surprised that he hasnt been signed by someone (poss xf ties with the tour coming up?) but sure it must happen at some point in the very near future.

She's right though isn't she - he isn't one of these six pack types that look like they spend their whole life in the gym - he's a normal bloke but he has huge sex appeal because of that and showing off the arms in that jumper really worked! I do find it a bit creepy that it's so contrived though - the idea of discussing with SC why Matt'll look hot in a jumper is just eek


I hadn't thought of that - they'd better bloody not!! should be OK though cos this is a different type of event and the performances are a big part of it

I don't think he would be on at the end. If I recall correctly, the last award is usually Best Soap and all the cast go up on to the stage and celebrate. We know he's not opening the show so he'll probably be on in the middle.

One of the most distinctive and attractive features of many of the Darwyn tracks is the rhythm and rhythmic changes ...it's almost certainly down to Ali ...maybe to the words or the melody too much at all but the rhythm .....

I'm going to make sure I am ready for kick off, either sat down or ironing (yet again). Completely lost touch with these soaps now - if I do catch something, someone is always shouting at someone else, generally the same people too ie Sally at Ken in Corrie!

Mazza, Piebaldy et al - confession..I am not keen on Matts voice in Darwyn *** runs and hides *** but I take from that body of work strong song writing skills etc.

I was driving the other day and had the single on in the car - boy his voice on the Bruno Mars track - that's the tone I prefer.

I understand - his voice has evolved to what it is today (and we trust that he will be firing on all cylindars tonight). Come out from behind the sofa now. My Darwyn tracks have really grown on me thought, I have to admit.

As far as driving whilst listening - I find I tend to drift off a bit sometimes - not good whilst driving a car

Don't run away QM everyone is entitled to their opinion. I prefer his voice nowadays but I adore the songs of Darwyn. I think i would spontainiously combust if i heard him do Darwyns songs with his voice as amazing as it is!!!!!!

me too .. I like the Darwyn & 7S stuff but I'm looking forward to Matt moving forward and building on how his voice has developed to create something new for him rather than going back to what's in the past ... exciting times

Now, there is a nice thought Sam - you may get that wish when he is clear of the xf tour and starts to do his own gigs.
