Or they should have kept quiet and let Vanilla tell everyone once he had been treated that he had had an accident but was fine!

Perhaps they didn't expect such a strong reaction? If there are any further injuries in the future, which I hope there won't be, perhaps they won't mention it after the intense reaction this time.

Use twitlonger? Use more than 1 tweet? Those are the usual solutions.

Remember all nouns are either masculine or feminine in French; it doesn't have to refer to people. "Le jardin est tres joli" would work. Sorry, it's the pedant in me .

Agree, there's no excuse. They should have updated on the original tweet, or said nothing. Not told us to look out for the injured person at the NTA.

yeah if they're going to tweet about injuries it would be best to wait for the actual oucome of the hospital visit as whlst the injury may have appeared "bad" at first it obiously wasn't a case of "badly injured" seeing as Vanilla was at he awards do

"Vanilla had a nasty fall today, he was knocked out and needed hospital treatment for a cut above his eye"

"but don't worry he's been checked over, is OK ahd going to the NTA's tonight"

I can't help but feel that this has developed into a bigger issue than it needed to be. I rather think that if the injury was serious, nothing would have been said until they knew the outcome of the hospital visit. Generally, I tend to assume that if something's mentioned in a casual tweet with no details then the chances are it's probably not going to be a serious injury.

Well its been reported that he was actually unconsious for a few mins so guess thats kinda serious.

I'm sure the tweet said it looked bad. Hence the worrying on here.

no the director tweeted that someone had actually been badly injured (the tweet was quoted earlier in this thread).. looks like he's deleted the tweet now and had his wrists slapped

The origional tweet now appears to have been removed theres a new one saying hes had a slapped wrist and that hes going into hybernation.

Indeed, why did they let him out of the hospital if he blacked out- don't you get looked over for concussion or brain damage these days? ?
