Foxsat HDR details

I'm about to buy a Foxsat HDR. Can anyone clear up a few detail points for me? - I haven't been able to find the info, perhaps it's very obvious to the initiated!
1/ I understand that it will receive ALL FTA non-freesat channels, no restriction. Can these be recorded just as easily as the freesat ones - i.e. is there a way to timer-record things that aren't on the epg?
2/ Can it record from iPlayer?
3/ Does anyone have experience, good or bad, of buying a 'Grade A' machine direct from Humax?

Appreciate any help on these - thanks.

1. Yes, it will receive all FTA channels in non-Freesat mode, but the box won't switch between the two automatically. Under certain circumstances it will switch from non-Freesat mode to Freesat mode to make a recording, but never in the other direction.

2. No.

Bought a grade A HDR from Humax 12 months ago. No problems at all.

Thanks nowster & nagasaki. I was waiting in case there were any other responses to the question about buying a Grade A from Humax Direct - just after some reassurance, you always have that slight concern in case you end up with something that had an intermittent fault which wasn't apparent when the box was refurbed.

I was thinking about buying 1 of those Humax Foxsat HDR's to receive all the FTA SD and HD from Astra 1 at 19 east in Non Freesat Mode. The only questions I ask are, Does it have a LNB Loopthrough so I can link up my Pace MSS 200 analogue receiver to it? How many scart sockets does it have? Does it have a varible symbol rate instead of 27.500 and 22.000 fixed SR? And does it have User Defined Video and Audio PID settings?

What I plan to do in the future is to replace my TechnoMate TM-5500D with the Humax, I can view analogue broadcasts from Astra 1 with the Pace, it takes control of the LNB, when The Technomate is on standby only, I wondered if the Humax would do the same as the Technomate?
