So, last night...

John and Josie...stunning.

NTA results...disappointing (apart from The Inbetweeners, Top Gear and Brucie).

I've already said Josie was great on Loose Women earlier, but I'll say it again...she was brilliant. Do we think the baby talk has been since Gloryfest. And yet another thing I appear to relate to with John. He loves who he loves and doesn't really care about anyone else. Yep, I have to hold my hands up to that one myself. The list of things in common with John continues!

Is it weird that I felt happy for John that he got to see David Jason last night, as he's such an Only Fools & Horses fan?

As for that story on Heatworld, talk about taking something out of context.

Had a proper scan of the bikini photos in Heat and have to say they do not appear to be photoshopped to me. They're just different shots to those used in the Mail article. You can see the small hairs on Josie's thighs, a detail that would be lost if they'd been altered.

I'm now going to tell you a little story about what happens when you have a mind that has big ideas but no sense of actual planning whatsoever.

Ok, a few days ago I had an idea (I know...dangerous!) to give Josie a present from us here on the Appreciation Thread. As you know, I've become more than a little frustrated with certain fans using various methods to gain something from Josie and wanted to show her that not all fans want something back from her all the time. The idea was to give her something really nice without any thought of wanting or needing anything in return, plus it would serve as a sort of extra birthday present. So I figured a really nice bouquet of flowers was the ticket. Earlier in the week I looked at some local florists online and found one that had really nice bouquets at a good price so I thought I'd go down there yesterday so the flowers were as fresh as possible when I took them to the studios today.

Small problem. Went to the address yesterday morning to find...it no longer existed! It went out of business but the website was still up. See, this is what I'm like. I plan up to a point and then leave the rest to assumption. I planned to get flowers at a florist and assumed the florist would exist when I got there. *slaps forehead*

So anyway, after growling in my own head outside what was now a sparkly new furniture shop, I meandered onto a bus and went to look elsewhere. As I looked at the bouquets of another florist the idea seemed to fall flat. Couldn't put my finger on it but the vibe had changed and the bouquet idea suddenly felt wrong. I decided to go for a wander for a rethink. I thought about what Josie actually likes and thought of David Attenborough. Jumped into HMV and had a look at some DVDs and got a much better feeling with them. So I picked out a couple of boxsets and got them for Josie instead. It worked out about the same price as the bouquet I had in mind anyway, so I count it as fate that I somehow found myself in a completely different shop, in a different location but had exactly the right money for a different present. THIS is why most of my life is run last minute. I can't cope with proper plans!!

As another little twist of fate, I got home realising that while I'd got a gift bag to put the DVDs in I hadn't actually got any wrapping paper to do a proper job of it. But I looked under my bed and found some perfect wrapping paper I'd completely forgotten about that was just the right size. So all wrapped up and put in the gift bag, I put on the label, 'To: Josie. From: The John James & Josie Appreciation Thread on Digital Spy (The JJJAT). (It was meant to a bunch of flowers, but what can you do eh?)'

So, this morning I took a little trip to the South Bank to the ITV studios to drop off the present. The original plan, again, was to give the flowers - now DVDs - to Josie herself. But with The Ubers about (believe me, my heart sank a little when I heard they'd be there earlier in the week) I really wasn't interested in any kind of competing for her attention shenanigans. It would be the complete opposite of the whole idea in the first place. Plus, it was bloody bitter this morning, so hanging around for 3 hours in the cold really didn't appeal. I decided to hand the present in at reception and have it passed onto her. It does mean of course I don't know if she actually got it, but I'm going to leave it to fate again.

Hopefully.

On the way back to the station, I was just about to pass under London Bridge when who should I catch a glimpse of up on the edge of the bridge? Only The Ubers hollering hello over and over to a camera crew filming outside the National Theatre below. Attention seeking? Mmm...

Hi Daisy - with regards to your post about Josie saying John's hard work. I don't think he'd mind her saying that in the slightest he knows he is and she can be too! Perhaps she just doesn't know how to phrase it differently?

Have you seen on the 3am website the JJJ interview is at the top of 'What's hot?' I also watched on their video player 'Stars give their opinion on Katie Price ... ' and John and Josie give their opinion towards the end. Not sure if anybody already posted that - apologies if they did.
