Anyone using a Humax FoxHDR-FOX-T2 and Netgear ReadyNAS?
I'm trying to manage the folders and files on a ReadyNAS Duo using one of the XP Pro-based PCs on my LAN.
Sometimes files I copy to folders on the NAS can be seen when I browse folders with the Humax and sometimes they can't. These are files which are compatible and will play. They just don't show up, but they are definitely there on the NAS. Sometimes deleted files show up on the Humax but of course they won't play because they're not there! I've tweaked NAS shares, users and other settings on the NAS and looked at permissions, file/folder security settings and all that stuff but there must be something I'm missing. Is there something I need to do or are they incompatible? |

As often happens, I found the solution just after posting here. There's a rescan button in the services menu of the ReadyNAS which needs to be clicked when the files are updated.
