Hiya Guys ....
Just a small question regarding the sky remote control unit.
When he had our sky system installed, the engineer left us with a spare/new remote control.
However, our original handset has just decided that it would be a good idea if it ridded itself of all the text/words from the buttons.
In otherwords we cant tell which button is which.
So as of this morning,we have started to use the new handset.
However,we do have a SMALL niggle concerning the new remote. For some reason, the only two buttons that DONT WORK on the handest are the VOLUME +/-,and the MUTE button.Do I need to do somethin in order to activate these buttons,or ......?
Thanks in advance ...
Jon.

It's a while since I used a Sky remote but I believe the volume and mute controls work the telly you have the box plugged into. Which would mean programming in the remote code for the TV. Something that should be in the Sky manual.

You can probably get the information you need on the Interactive button on the Sky box, then going to Sky Customer Service.

In which case:

1) Press TV at the top of the Sky remote.

2) Hold down select and red until the LED flashes twice.

3) Enter 0533

Job done!.
