Is it normal for an lcd tv to be jerky then smooth
I haven't tested any dvds or blurays yet, but i find my new panasonic tx-l32s20b goes from slightly jerky picture to a bit smoother, it's not extreme but it's certainly noticeable and I'm not a fan of it.
Is this normal for LCDs or this model? Is it sky connection? Like I say I haven't had chance to test any dvds/ blurays or games yet. I've tried having a play with the options, turning off the resolution enhancer seems to help a little. |

I note you've turned of resolution enhancement, but does your TV have other picture options?. Things such as Noise Reduction, 600Hz etc. can all do more to introduce issues than do improve the picture.
How is your Sky box connected too? |

Turn off IFC as well this is what is causing this jerking I've got the same tv and had the same problem. Its the pretend 100hz whats doing it.

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick.
So the 100hz thing is a pointless novelty that ruins the flow of the picture? Or does it work better with dvd/bluray and games? Is it the same for their 600hz plasmas? |
