BT rented equipment
I have just recently gone to Primus for line rental and calls today BT have sent me a grey bag apparently to send an old phone back but there's no letter to explain what it's for .
I've been paying rental on this phone but it hasn't been used for years must be 20 years old its a BT relate 100. I would think its going to cost them more than its worth to have it returned . anyone know what bt policy is with old stuff thats only fit for the bin. |

Good grief, you must have paid a total of more than £500 for that telephone over the years!
BTW, they turn up on ebay occasionally if you're worried and want to return one in that bag. |

I wonder if BT can actually be bothered collecting old kit? Sitting in a corner of the workbench at work there is a BT box that is used on the end of dedicated digital circuits. A BT man turned up many years ago to install it.
We had no idea we had ordered any such circuit. So he went away to check. We eventually found out it was meant to go into the Porsche UK building which is nowhere near us! Still waiting for him to come back and pick up the box. Wonder what he put in if or when he turned up at Porsche? |

Probably something to do with the WEEE directive on electrical waste http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waste_E...ment_Directive
