I Phone 4
Itunes will not recognise my iphone it says it can't read the contents when i connect anyone know how i resolve the issue

through i tunes yes it says downloading the update but when its downloaded it says error unable to restore try later

Performing a hard reset on it first may help restoring it.

It will still be in warranty so Apple will replace it if you cant fix it.

tried the hard reset and then restoring through itunes still says the same thing

tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes and on another computer not jailbroken only had it since christmas

Contact Apple get it repaired or replaced. Tell them all the steps you've been through and that nothing has worked.

Yeah think all bases have been covered. You need to get it to apple really. If you have a store near you make a genius appointment as they'll swap it for you there and then

Yep, sounds like something has probably gone wrong with the phone. Apple will replace it so long as it hasn't been dunked in the sea or something.
