I love my little mice, and their squeakles.. but Pudding my little white hairy mouse has passed away she was a year old, did have a respiratory problem she just got over with some baytril. But I found her dead today... so sad...

wrapped her up in an egg box full of fluff and a couple of chocolates in there... bury her by the sea tomorrow

Sorry to hear that, we lost our little 20 month old Hamster today too. Hopefully they made their way to heaven together

We wrapped ours in his cotton bedding, popped in in a quaker Oats box and filled it with a few banana cups and his chew toys

They might only be tiny, but that doesn't mean we miss them any the less.

Its just so sad that they have such little lives.

RIP Pudding

RIP MarieH's hamster

I can't add to that, other than to say RIP to all that have passed on. We will all meet up some day.

Aww At least she's at peace.

I adore mice, such lovely little pets. I've had them ever since I was 12, unfortunately my little two year-old Reva died of a combination of a tumour and old age back in August and I haven't been able to find any nearby since

I buried her yesterday in a field over looking the sea..Its strange but I've owned pets in the past and the passing of Pudding has seemed to have hit me rather bad.
She did have a fantastic life, chocolates, all the toilet tubes her heart could tend with to nibble, and lots of freedom to run around..
The other 2 mice Pnut and Pie have been a bit quiet, Pnut (the first time ever) came across to me (in the cage) and sat there staring at me while making little squeaking noises (something she has never done) - I explained to her about Pudding and once I had finished off she went to sit next to Pie.

Made me bawl my eyes out... dam it im a 31 yr old bloke.....

Hey, scruffpot, there's no shame in having a good cry and letting all the emotions out.

It will take time but the pain will pass. You've Pnut and Pie to look after and they don't want you to be upset. As you say, Pud had a good life and what animal could ask for more?
