Rude, arrogant people on this forum

Please don't shout at me until you've read all of my post.

Although I don't post a lot on here I do read a lot of the forums and I've noticed how rude other posters can be to those that dare (God forbid) to express an opinion on here.

This forum is designed for people to express their opinions about BB and just because they don't conincide with your opinions it doesn't mean you've got the right to be nasty!!

It's the way people think that because they're on the internet they're "hidden" and can say what they like, if we all only wrote things that we'd be prepared to say to each other face to face then we'd all be a lot better off and a lot happier!!!

Totally agree. If you bring good arguments, they may shout you down and such but in the end they're the ones looking bad. Fight for yourself, girl, you can do it!

Holly - who's been nasty to you?

Just give the names and we'll get Michelle to pop a boiling bunny in their kitchens

It's very rude and arrogant to call people rude and arrogant you know.

When I first posted on here I would take replies where people qouted me and disagreed with me, sometimes ridiculing my posts, personally. I used to think I was only posting my own opinion and respected other peoples right to disagree with me but if they were nasty or rude or made me feel like I was stupid for having a 'wrong' (different to theirs) opinion then it would upset me.
Now I have got used to it and don't take it personally any more but I can imagine for newcomers it may be upsetting at first. Some of the heated discussions can be the best ones. The only ones to spoil it for me are to see two posters resorting to making personal insults at each other rather than to back up their arguments with valid points.

yes many arragant rude peole here, just as real life. Thing is some people take BB way to serious and you say something uncompmenatry about someone fav person, and people dont argue case against just start using "pseudo intellects" lik ethey inportent or clever or something. Is water from duck for sure, best to ignore if possible, but have no fear, you are not by yourself in identifying "too serious " people. ismore common than people hear think is

Get over yourself, it's just a web forum. No-one harmed during the making of it.

If you think the forums are bad now, you should have seen them when Mark Hughes was a moderator.

Mark Hughes - he was a dirty b@st@rd. And if he was fouled he just rolled over and over, pretending to be in agony, trying to get a fellow professional sent off.

I never liked him.

Actually he was a great player and you're not fit to lace his boots you inarticulate prat. I was referring to a different Mark Hughes.

Really?

You mean the current manager of Wales is not actually a forum moderator in his spare time?

You meant someone else?

You shock me

"inarticulate prat"?

Oh how I cried

I'm sure it was just a demonstration of the type of posts that are sometimes encountered

I am neither rude nor arrogant. That individual who criticised Mark Hughes was both.

Take no notice and ignore esp. Mr Freeze who has put up some of the vilest retorts to posters I have ever seen...and if you respond he is on your case all night.. mostly though just ignore..mainly it is kids who type in caps or get really vulgar and personal..treat it with the comtempt it deserves..some people think they own this site ,or worse thread they have started.Theyu do not and there is no room for thought police here who would demand their rights to say anything ,whilst refusing you any right to say one word...

You sad person. Have you had a sense of humour bypass?

What a lot of b0llocks about "rude and arrogant"! Generally I find that there are a lot of people who come on this forum to indulge in the tedious pastime of slagging people off. They think BB is just a ducking stool to say offensive things about HMs without even trying to be funny about it. That of course is their right. When someone takes them to task and asks for an insight into the shallow waters of their mind, they whinge on and on about "rude and arrogant".

Then they ask for the Thought Police to come out and protect them. Wouldn't be much of a forum if there was no invective, biting satire, sarcasm or gloves-off debate.

Victor is a bully
Michelle is a bunny boiler
Jason is a prat
Stu is soo boring
Shell is too posh
Nadia is a man
Plato is rude and arrogant

Do me a favour. Play another record

It's usually quite a shock when you first get "flamed", but don't worry. Your feelings maybe hurt, but your FM identity is inflammable. If you feel that you have made your point eloquently and succintly do not respond to the urge to reply. Usually you will have made you point quite well enough to let it stand and your critics will hang themelves.

There are lots of intelligent people on this forum, and there are lots of stupid ones. It's up to you if you really think it neccessary to reply. If you reply to a troll (God knows I've done that often enough) you are usually giving more air-space to a voice that needn't be heard.

Keep posting and don't worry about the flak...

Interesting - you are complaining about rude and arogant people and your first interaction with me on this forum is to insult me.

no i make joke with you, but bec you to busy being intelligent, you fail to see, so point of thread is proved i think. I dont say anywhere intelligence is crime just people try and be like "pseudo (make belive) intelligent not real intelligent people so diffrent thing altogether. Plus iam not complaining, agreeing with poster point of view, again diffrent think - so I think you even more "not guilty " now than before
