I agree with the original post totally. I use many forums and this one is probably the one with the most sarcastic responses, the most immature responses and the most pointless threads (this isn't one of them).

Particularly when debating with somebody, they typically will respond sarcastically or will play dumb in order to stretch an argument out as long as possible.

I believe that ths may be down to the type of people that use the forum. Digitalspy users are all keen on tv and technology and probably fast things. Some probably have hours of spare time to spend making annoying and rude posts.

having said that, the majority of FMs are very friendly, it just seems to be the same few FMs that post alot of messages that do nothing but wind people up.

You got as much right as anybody else to state your opinions on this forum, in my view. And belittling you for writing in 'not perfect' English is not at all the same thing as belittling people who write in txtspeak, when English is their first language. I can understand what you write perfectly well, and so I think can everyone else. To suggest otherwise is to do exactly what the topic of this thread says and be 'arrogant and rude'.

Your points are valid,newbieholly but after a while one gets used to things.Channel4's forum can be alot worse.I don't know about others but I do know of several ex-forum people who no longer come here.Some formed their own forum of ex-digital spy-ers.

I myself considered leaving after the vitriol that my occasional astrology posts raised in people[ironically i get emails from forum members asking for astro guidance from time to time]I even pushed things on the banning policy here, half-wondering if I myself might incur the wrath of the moderators.

However I got round my negativities, cut out my posting on "stars" matters and just enjoyed the forum banter or the in-depth posts of people like Plato,Alrightmate etc.

Despite those who like to slag one off, it's still a great forum the best on the net.

It was a question, did you not see the question mark? SD said that all aiko said was that to excuse the fact that they couldn't speak russian and said nothing else.

Aiko did say something else, which SD ignored, Aiko questioned whether SD was serious. SD did not say the rest of what Aiko said was rubbish. SD only said that to T__J.

Thus the question of deceit (it was a question) was whether SD was being serious. It was neatly omitted by SD in his translation.

Obviously SD assumes that anything that he cannot understand is the fault of the writer, and tends to jump in head first to critisise rather than clarify. Most people here tend to ask if they are confused or if something goes *whoosh* over someones head they put their hand up. SD starts slinging mud first.

It was a valid question deceit by omission.
