Worst soap entrances
I'll start off with Emmerdale:
Donald De Souza's daughter Anna making a 'dramatic' entrance via a helicopter. |

Poppy in EastEnders - inserted the other week in a hastily-written-and-recorded segment. We haven't even seen her otherwise yet, but we were supposed to know who she is.

Poppy did feel random, don't get me started on their 'conversation' in the cafe.

When Sunita in corrie returned and no one even mentioned she'd been away for four years and acted like she'd gone for a pint of milk.
The McQueen's in hollyoaks although there introductory scenes were good. We were supposed to assume that this, mad, family were living round the corner the whole time but no one thought to mention them until Michaela became friends with Amy Barnes. |

Den Watts.
He's been 'dead' for more than a decade and suddenly re-appears in Albert Square. Are people shocked to see this 'ghost'? No, Dot does a double take when she first see's him and that's it. Everyone carries on as if someone coming back from the dead is perfectly normal! |

I thought of Tracy's return as soon as I saw the thread title. That broke the cringe-o-meter.

I never got that Tracy seen. Why would you say something like that? I think that part ruined the scene.

Warren in HO coming back from the dead and only one person showing any recognition of this, everyone else carries on like it's the most normal thing in the world!

The ghastly Ferrara family - they had a party and the father was dressed as Elvis.
