Hi all

I have recently got the above Sony WEGA TV.
First of all: HIGHLY recommended, watching phantom menace with the HTK 215 cinema system is amazing

One problem though: even with autoformat switched off on the TV, it occasionally switches to another format (eg zoom to 16:9), so i end up manually changing it every few minutes. Its especially a problem when I play dvds

am I doing anything wrong?
someone has told me that this is a bug in this TV, but that it can be fixed via the "service" menu

can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks all for your help, and thanks Admin for a great site

I have the KV32FX20 which has the autoformat option, I just leave it on so it automatically goes into a widescreen format when a signal is being received. I usually have the tv in smart mode for the rest of the time. I do not know if this helps you.

Heh we have the HTK 215 system too and thoroughly enjoyed watching 'Phantom Menace' on it. There was such a difference between that and the video version we have.

Watching Tomb Raider tonight, never seen the film - though husband was extremely keen to go and see it (wonder why - not!). Hope it is okay because we usually buy films we know we want to watch time and time again and it didn't get very good reviews when it was released.

The FX60 has a more complex auto format switching than the FX20, I believe that it has a bug but Im not sure if a tweak in the service menu will help.

check out: www.kv32tweak.freeuk.com for a very useful site and forum.
