I have 2 newfoundlands and both r insured with Petplan..Costs around £50 amonth each but got to say been worth every penny.
The oldest Newfi is Digby he is now 7 1/2, but had problems since a pup, The vets (who I know very well) added up how much we have paid out for him and so far its £32,000..yes £32,000, Petplan have paid out evey claim I have put in without once questioning any of them, He is due for another op in a week or so and that will be another £3,000 which i know will be paid, So Thanks Petplan, without you my Digby would not be here..

Digby's gorgeous
It's definitely worth having whole of life pet insurance.

Mmm I'm not so enthusiastic. When I reported Elphie missing they stupidly closed her record as "dead", which then meant she wasn't covered for the advertising costs incurred (£200 from Animal Search UK). I sent in a complaint and they reinstated her policy but I wasn't offered any apology or compensation! I resent paying Pet Insurance
