When I was little we used to have a horrible neighbour who used to kick cats.

I have no idea what they were doing in his garden but as I say, he was horrible and very creepy.

So you'd be happy for me to let my dog crap over your garden because the dog is more important than your property?

Thought not.

I won't let my child play in my garden because of cats pooing in my garden, bet your bottom dollar though if I put any deterrent out onto the lawn I'd have some rspca or council busybody telling me to remove it like my parents did not so long ago when they were having the same issue with cats in their garden.

My parents now just pick up the poo and throw it into the cat owners garden/drive.

Ah of course, lets just not have cats and end hundreds of years of domestication, *poof* we'll magic them all away... don't be so bloody stupid!

Riiighhtt... only cat owners are selfish... because I've never stepped in a fresh dog turd on the street or had some mangy mutt run and put muddy paw prints on my suit on the way to work because some t*sser couldn't pick up after their dog or keep it on a lead!!

And as for the comments abouts cats and birds... what about foxes and cats?? It's called NATURE!!!!

God there are some morons in this thread!!

Dont be so blinded by your love for cats that you lose all sense of perspective, leave alone look like you have no clue.

If it was upto nature, there wouldnt be so many darned cats in our cities. The birds would live happily and get predated by natures predators.

Its the likes of you cat lovers that have multiplied the population of cats a million fold, artificially and totally without any care for the wild bird population of this land. It is the likes of the cat owners that should shoulder the blame for this catastrophe. The cat is just an animal. It brings a bird to your door and you lot go aahhhh so cute. It is bloody well not.

No-one said it was "cute" and who are you to make that kind of sweeping generalisation! My cats are primarily indoor cats, use a litter tray, go out for maybe an hour in my sight near my back door to potter around and haven't killed a single animal their whole lives! Also my cats are neutered so will never "add to the population". Not all cat owners are irresponsible! Kittens are born, end of, are you saying a sentient creature doesn't deserve a life or good home just because it belongs to a certain species!? Don't be so closed minded!

who's talking about you and your cats.

Dont make this personal. We are discussing, now that the thread has evolved from the Ops neighbour to general observations about cats and their shitting habits.

I dont know if your cats are the model pets you claim them to be. I personally dont care.

Would you like to share details of how?

If it was up to nature, cats wouldn't be neutered or spayed and the cat population would be much bigger than it is today. Do you know how freely cats mate? Do you know how many cats one cat can be responsible for producing?
