The album More With Every Line has songs performed by Samantha Barks, Rachel Tucker and Jessie Buckley (and Daniel Boys too)

I normally don't find a lot of music that I hear for the first time catchy, but these songs are brilliant! Hopefully he'll do another album soon and involve Niamh Perry and Jordie Prenger in it as well, and maybe some of the Dorothies.

Rachel -*Rain On Me
starts with thunder (and ends with it too) and is what I would call an epic song. She does a lot of wailing in it, and hits some very high notes. At times it sounds very contemporary Christian as well. I could see her singing it in Wicked. It reminded me of when she sang 'I'm With You', 'Beautiful' etc on IDA

Samantha - Start Without You
Very catchy rock song with a catchy chorus. It shows off the rock side of Samantha (I much prefer her ballad style, but that might be just me). It reminded me most of when she sang 'Since You Been Gone' 'Survivor' in IDA. Nice to listen to.

Jessie - I Will Be There
The most beautiful song on the whole album, and my favourite Jessie performance ever. In IDA, there were four girls I liked more than her, and two of them are on this CD too, but I have to say, of all the songs in the album, this is the best. I can't compare it to something on I'd Do Anything since it is very unique. I liked her on IDA for the first three weeks, but after that didn't like her at all. I can finally now see what ALW et all saw in her, and I like it very much.

You can download these tracks on ITUNES as well. I totally reccomend them

123 just go along to one of Jessie's jazz evenings (I suppose as she's at RADA full time she doesn't seem to venture far from the SouthEast corner of the UK though) and you will have a fantastic time. Don't believe any of the other Nancy or the Dorothy contestants could blow you away in the way Jessie does. Her pianist is pretty good as well.

Sadly I don't live in the UK, so I won't be able to catch her performing.
I do scour youtube trying to find videos of her, (there seem to be a lot of Jessie Buckley's) and have found a few, and you are right, she is sensationally good now.
Hopefully someone will upload a full concert for those of us who don't live there

There's an album signing for this 12 Feb at The Dress Circle shop with Jessie and Rachel both there - presumably singing.

Jessie is stunning. Rachel I thought shows just how much range she has and how good she is throughout it - this is very different from Elphaba.

Ah, lucky everyone who lives in the UK, lol! Jessie's voice HAS seriously come on leaps and bounds ... so pure, I didn't expect it at all. Maybe Lord Webber is keeping his eyes on her? Hopefully there'll be a great role for her one day (How perfect would it be if ALW wrote a musical for her, Niamh, Rachel and Samantha to star in ... maybe his version of Little*Women, or something)(dream on!)

I did hear however, that Steph Fearon will be there intead of Rachel, but I might be wrong there.

Did anyone else go to this? It was a great showcase for the album, I can't wait for the second one.

Here are the performances from the day:

My Heart Beats In My Song - Jonathan Sterling

Time - Steph Fearon & Tim Prottey-Jones

I Will Be There - Jessie Buckley

Just One Look - Simon Thomas & Ashleigh Gray
