BT dropping Broadband Talk for new Customers
Bt will no longer offer Broadband Talk to new customers, due to compatibility issues with the new Home Hub V3.0.
I.E the new Hub does not support VOIP and also does not contain a DECT base station. I guess bt would prefer that people sign up to call packages on their land lines instead. http://community.bt.com/t5/BB-in-Hom...p/76445#M44764 |

I think you maybe right. I may or may not lose my BT broadband talk later in the year when I upgrade to BT Infinity.
BT broadband talk was handy for the free evening and weekend landline calls and it was like having an extra phoneline at no extra cost. In the past few days my BT broadband talk has been playing up at times. If I do loss the BT broadband talk later in the year when I upgrade to Infinity I will have to look to see if BT offer a evening and weekend call package for the landline and mobile sever as the now im on unlimited weekend calls with mobile saver for my landline.
