Yeah, it thought it was a little weird considering he made the dog attack people. Seemed harmless enough if left to its own devices.

The actor who played him is now in Coronation Street so I'm not sure he will be returning, especially since in the last series Charlie left to be with another woman if I remember correctly..

He was in Coronation Street when he was in it last time, and this series was filmed ages ago so Ian will only ever realy be in one at a time. I find it strange that he would not return when his missing daughter is back though

not only did he leave to live with other woman but also to move miles away - London I think

so pretty sure he won't be returning
