UMC 40" Lcd remote code

Just bought a UMC 40" Lcd (M40/57G) from Tesco but the Sky remote code wont work

Has anyone got any advice, i have checked website and followed the instructions but no joy.

If the UMC model you have is listed on Sky you're either entering the code wrongly or you have an old revision of Sky remote.

the code given in the manual is 2134 and i have a revision 9 sky + hd remote
I have done this loads of times on other tvs

The codes in the manual are for brands of TVs...not models.
UMC TVs use a variety of different chassis from various manufacturers.
Try all codes listed for UMC via your Sky "Interactive", "Sky Customer Services", "Help with my Remote Control" menu.

No, the code in the manual that came with the tv states the code as being 2134 it doesnt mention any other brand of tv, why would it

Apologies, I thought you were referring to the Sky box manual.

Been away on holiday and the remote has died, put new batterys in but the code i used 2134 no longer makes the the red led blink twice.
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!
