There are usually places on the high street where you can get them unlocked, however you will have to pay them.

New Nokia phones are extremely difficult to unlock compared to other brands.

We took it to a place in Queensferry today & they said to us that the Nokia x6 needs a code to unlock etc - dunno if it was just a case of him not wanting to do it, but

Have you tried calling T mobile? They may unlock the phone for you.

This may help. Got it from the T mobile FAQs.
Question Can I use another network's SIM in my T-Mobile phone? Answer You can use another network's SIM in your phone if you have a subsidy PIN. To obtain a subsidy PIN, or if you've entered one incorrectly, please call us on 0845 412 5000. |

I tried to get my T-Mobile Nokia E71 unlocked (subsidy PIN), had to pay T-Mobile £15 and they insisted it had to come from Nokia in a letter, not a code they could give me over the phone. Still don't have it, three months later, really not best pleased with T-Mobile over this. Going to tell them to get their act together and trace it with Nokia / send it within two weeks or refund the £15.
