Best Value Scart Switcher?
I'm looking to buy the best value Scart switcher so that I can route Freeview or Sky or VCR to my Panasonic E85 DVD Recorder. Argos or Index are preferred in case I need to get a refund because of incompatibilities. Do "standard" Scart cables cause pixellation and freezing? Please recommend my best buys! Thank you

I know everybody around here raves about the £10 ones that you can get from Argos.
Personally, I had a lot of interference when I tried one, but I guess you can try it and take back if needed. I now use a Holdan HSR-1000 which isn't exactly cheap, or perfect, but does the job I need it to do. |

Hitachi Scart Switcher anyone?
interference? as in 'bad picture'? wow - I want to keep my picture exactly as it is now. Would Argos's 15 quid Hitachi one be a better bet? Does anyone have this?

You can get a 3-to-1 auto-switcher in Tesco for about £3.

The one often recommended is Argos cat. no. 534/2361.
It's only 9.75 and does RGB. |
