If you have been affected by the issues in tonights Hollyoaks...

Yep! Finding out I was pregnant was shock enough, but then catching my boyfriend doing the dirty deed with the local nightclub owner was horrific.
Then my sister was killed by a serial killer she met on the internet after I encouraged her to be more adventurous.
I find it hard to talk about the awful burns I suffered (that no one can see) after I was burnt cooking a meal for my prospective daughter-in-law whilst she was doing the dirty deed with my husband in the downstairs bog, and my dad is the said serial killer. But it's all ok cause I am going to have an affair with the local teenage bully to make myself feel better.
Then to top it all off my daughter died in a fire, and then the son I have never mentioned or talked about died and his daughter hid in my attic.

Thank god for those helplines!

I remember an episode where nothing particularly sensitive happened, and at the very end Cheryl won the lotto, and the voice came on and I was sure the only thing he could say would be : "If you have been affected by a lottery win......"

This thread is genius.

I left my pants in the local spa and found out that some dullard had been showing them to a nurse, I don't know how I can go on.

yes, indeed but I like the funny ones mentioned here !!!

Lighthearted threads are important

however if someone admits to impregnating a 12 year old, i'll be worried

yeah i agree some are a little off if the lotto one is true, but some people totally dismiss them out of hand when really its a good idea.

It's ok though anyway right, because you forgot your sister was murdered, it's not like anyone's mentioned it

I may be showing my age here but I remember a T4 presenter saying, with a very serious face, at the end of one of Rob Hawthornes rampages that if you had been kidnapped by a psychopath dressed as James Bond and left to die in a huge underwater cavern then there was a helpline number coming up.

Made me laugh anyway.

Excellent thread. I always love it when the helpline message is so non specific! Is anyone sitting at home nodding saying "Yes I have just walking in on the father of my unborn baby shagging his boss!"?

It does make me giggle though. How much of a nanny state have we become? It goes for all soaps.
So my new game is...'Guess the soap.'

"If you have been affected by your husband throwing himself off a building to protect you from being arrested for the murder of the man that raped you then please ring 0845678901233443337574"

Easy one to start with!

But hold on Frankie has another son? Now I know I don't watch regularly or anywhere near it but I did till at least 07 and the Deans have been there for ages I know them even through the two Johnnos and the turn in him to a cheat who didnn't care about his kids even though he'd been a family man before where the hell did that come from

Frankie had a child when she was 16 and her parents told her that the baby died when in actuality they gave the baby to someone else to raise (not sure of the legalities) but that son has now died and Esther (his daughter) had a letter from Frankie's mother in among her stuff.
