Who is planning on moving networks this year and why ?

As we move well and truly in to 2011 and most of the networks offer almost the same deals. Who is planning to change networks this year and why ?
I shall be closing my O2 account once my contract finishes . O2s coverage in my area is not great and they seem very over priced for upgrades.

Cant wait to leave Vodafone. Every month they %% something up billing wise and they CS is still below par.

As I have stated in a another topic I always thought I would stay with Orange, now I am not so sure. Will have to see if things improve as the year goes on.

So that sort of leaves me with T-Mobile. Combined Orange/T-Mobile coverage OK CS and a good price plan.

I think 2011 is the year I finally start using my Orange Staff contract again, even though signal is poor.

O2/Voda are both a bunch of kn*bs with issues and CS, even though they are the only ones with decent signal where I live.

So bye bye O2 I think, mind you there is still a bit left to run, so I'll see what happens.

My contract is not up until December, but I'll probably be leaving Vodafone then.

I'll be getting the new iPhone, and I'm not sure what network to go with. I think 3 offer the best deals, but O2 have the best coverage, so it'll probably be between those two.

im on vodafone payg at the moment. but i am looking at getting a contract with t mobile as they seem like they have a good contract for £15 a month. other networks have similar deals but t mobile offers flexible boosters. o2 also offer bolt ons but not until a £20 contract.

i am paying £10 a month basically for a freedom pack but internet is not included. plus my signal is poor but i put that down to my phone possibly

I think I will join three purely for better data speeds and no caps on amount of data used.

I'm staying with giffgaff and very happy with giffgaff..

I joined Three last month, because of "all you can eat data". Was with Vodafone for about 15 years previously.

I am very happy so far. Well done Three.

Considering a move to 3 if their prices when the iPhone 5 is released are as aggressive as their prices for the 4 are

I shall be leaving Vodafone at the end of my agreement, due to their inability to calculate my bills correctly.

5 out of 7 bills have needed to be adjusted- simply not good enough!

Back to O2 I go. I think this was a 'better the devil you know' situation for me.

Nope I'm happy with O2 and my tariff. Can't see me changing for a long time. I'll probably go through a few phones but will just take my sim card with me.

Same but I think I will go with 3's sim only deal for the iPhone. Not a fan of being tied down to 2 year contracts which is due to finish in sept. Never had any issues with vodafone but I could save a good amount of money with 3 over 12 months so I just need to research coverage at home and work. Still need to look around to see what other networks offer with their sim only deals though.

I'm considering moving from o2 to 3 the data connectivity in my area lately has been useless through my Iphone and is beyond a joke at times, o2 need to sort their Data Network out.

02 dont seem to look after loyal customers.

18months ago i wanted the w995 but it was only free on £45 tarrifs and they only offerd me the pixon or 5800.

even now the 1st iphone is stil only free on 30tarrifs

I'm Sim free on a O2 30 day rolling contract, just waiting to see what new phones the summer brings (W7 or iPhone). New phone, new network.

Just bought a smartphone so moved from O2 sim only in which I had to pay up to a £1/day for browsing to a Tesco sim-only which has 'unlimited' browsing (1GB FUP I think) on a 30 day rolling contract.

I've been on O2 for 8 years, and I'm leaving as soon as I can. Not sure who I'm going to go to, I'll probably have a look round when the time comes, although 3 are looking mighty competitive with their truly unlimited data plans. Giffgaff are O2 which doesn't bode well for network reliability and customer support...

Oddly enough when I got my new phone and was using the O2 sim in it, I had a very poor signal at home, when I replaced it with the Tesco sim it is much better.

I thought Tesco used the O2 network?

I'm with O2 - planning on leaving as my current deal is poor value and the upgrades seem even worse. Why would I want to pay more for a phone/deal that others can supply for less?

Both of my son's have found this to be the case and have also jumped ship.

I must say though that on the few occasions I need customer service I found O2 to be excellent.

Leaving Orange to go to either 3 (all the data etc) or tesco (12 month contracts)

Left Three for Tesco mobile last year because of the excellent deal on the Iphone4. Big mistake. 3g coverage is far from reliable (they use O2 network), and I can t even get texts from services I pay abroad. Back to Three soon
