Blackberry email

I saw this on all Blackberry phones on Virgin:

All our clever little BlackBerry® smartphones let you:

* Email and browse the internet anywhere
* Synchronise your email address with BlackBerry® Mail to keep in touch wherever you go
* Enjoy 1GB Mobile Web, plus unlimited email and BlackBerry Messenger (subject to fair use policy, UK use only)

I've read elsewhere that blackberry charge an extra £5 a month to link up to there email service, but this looks as if it's been included within the Virgin tariff.
What do you think?

I agree - it looks like it's been included.

yes it is included.

I got a BB from Virgin a while ago, free Blackberry Curve for £8.50 a month and no extra £5 to pay. Only downside was that it was a 24 month contract.

As has been said it is included. I got a contract with them and now wish I hadn't.

I don't know if it's my area but the signal is a pile of crap.

I live in a flat in the midlands and for a few weeks in January, i couldn't get a signal, only " Emergency calls only " no signal.
Virgin told me two masts nearby were faulty and being repaired.
Now i get a really strong 3G signal indoors.
