Problem with my iphone
Hi,
I have an iphone 4 & for the last few days have not been able to use the wifi connected to my internet at home. When I go to connect it tells me it is connected, but the logo never comes up at the top of the screen & you can't actaully get on anything using the wifi. Anyone have any advice? I have rang Vodafone who just said disconnect & try again, do you think it's a phone fault? Thanks x |

Also try connecting to other wifi points, see if you have the same issue. Try resetting your router.

What router do you use and what security has it got set? (WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc)
Are you definitely entering the pass-code correctly? Have you managed to connect other phones to it successfully? |

Thanks your replies, I haven't tried connecting to a different wifi yet, have plugged into Itunes & updated.
It was working fine, but my phone had been restricted for few days due to late payment on my bill. Since they switched it back on it hasn't worked, I did ring Vodafone to check everything had been reactivated & they said it had. Very strange...... |

Almost always rebooting your router solves connection issues. The phone is actually connecting to it but not picking up ip or gateway addresses etc. It's probably down to DHCP on the router.
